I am truly sorry for the suffering your family has been through. A few people in mine have lived with suicidal thoughts for a very long time. However, I greatly disagree. If we were more open to talking about suicide and actually making true efforts to address the causes, the numbers would likely dramatically decrease. At the very least, we could be a whole lot more humane and loving towards those who no longer wish to be here.

People respond to the horrors of death in many ways. Some of those responses can seem quite awful. We're not taught how to either deal or come to terms with our mortality. So we get those who seek it out in adverse ways, such as this kid. It's to be expected in the world we live in. Maybe, instead of crucifing this young man, we could see his behavior as a symptom of a broken society. Imagine how it might be if we normalized death. If we, instead, put as much effort into mental health as we do war and corporate enslavement. We do not discuss death in this culture. We also have religions around the world that scorn and damn those who choose to die by suicide after a life of unbearable suffering rather than helping them in any real way. We need to get on perspectives to think about it: Suicide is everywhere and people don't need to hit the hot spot to commit it, actually. Which means it's not a matter of place, or a sort of "scary site", if they are to take their lives. They would find it easier at home, probably. The thing is if you really want to discuss over the issue, then making too much of hot spot gives a wrong approach for helping others. I am truly sorry for the suffering your family has been through. A few people in mine have lived with suicidal thoughts for a very long time. However, I greatly disagree. If we were more open to talking about suicide and actually making true efforts to address the causes, the numbers would likely dramatically decrease. At the very least, we could be a whole lot more humane and loving towards those who no longer wish to be here.

People respond to the horrors of death in many ways. Some of those responses can seem quite awful. We're not taught how to either deal or come to terms with our mortality. So we get those who seek it out in adverse ways, such as this kid. It's to be expected in the world we live in. Maybe, instead of crucifing this young man, we could see his behavior as a symptom of a broken society.
Imagine how it might be if we normalized death. If we, instead, put as much effort into mental health as we do war and corporate enslavement. We do not discuss death in this culture. We also have religions around the world that scorn and damn those who choose to die by suicide after a life of unbearable suffering rather than helping them in any real way.
This video may have touched upon some deep triggers, and that's important. We need to discuss it. We need to expose ourselves to the realities around suicide and the suffering that leads there so we can do something more life changing about it.

Indeed, this place as the hot spot for suicide has been well-known in my country for decades. The scary image of it has been broadly shared through mass media; it actually got acknowledged as symbolic "suicide forrest" far before RUclips got common on the internet.
Well, it's a good thing to draw awareness of suicide or to help them stop doing it by sharing the spot, given the location down from the famous Mt. Fuji.
Yet, I don't think it gives more effect than creeping people out. We need to get on perspectives to think about it:
Suicide is everywhere and people don't need to hit the hot spot to commit it, actually. Which means it's not a matter of place, or a sort of "scary site", if they are to take their lives. They would find it easier at home, probably.
The thing is if you really want to discuss over the issue, then making too much of hot spot gives a wrong approach for helping others. We need to think further than watching sensational videos of people's end of life.
