I imagine the tragically beautiful story (and almost death) of a girl who was far too aware that something bad would happen to her one day, sooner than later, or more specifically, the girl that I previously talked about lying on the floor after barely escaping death and wondering how messed up the previous events must have been for her to end up under the moonlight, barely alive (yeah, I should really write a story...)
I wonder how many people actually get that this jpn guy didn't really make this song.. it's actually a piece from some italian film composer from the 70s or something like that, I'm not 100 percent sure anymore who it was but I'll find it eventually haha.. jpn dude took that piece and just added some beats and effects to it...

The thing about Utena is that the themes about gender and sexuallity and how it handles them feels at least 20 years ahead of its time. So yeah I think it holds up pretty well

Just rewatched it recently. For me, it does. The way it presents the patriarchy and society's treatment of women is tragically timeless.
It absolutely still holds up, I only watched it in the last year but it became one of my favorite shows
