    What model number is the 12 v Delavin pump.? Also will a smaller orfice tip increase the rinse pressure, the #30/#40 orfice size is that gpm? Thanks

    • @housewashjosh5910
      @housewashjosh5910 5 лет назад +1

      Using too small of an orifice will overwork the pump and make it pulsate. It's not good for it. You want low pressure soap tips matched up to the gpm of the pump. I get the j-rod tips from pressuretek and they work great.

    Been cleaning windows for almost 30 years. I really want to get into softwash and pressure washing. 1. Would you say that except for concrete, a soft wash system will clean any residential surface: roof, siding, brick etc? 2. If you were in my situation would you pursue flatwork or soft wash first? (Which has a greater residential demand?) I just can't afford both yet. Thanks in advance.

    I'm in Florida. Never thought of a solar pan. Hint,Sunshine State. May try it. I usually carry a spare battery, rarely use it. Take battery and charge it overnight.
    Next I'm going to upgrade to 7 gpm with 100psi. Now using 5.5 gal 60 psi. Works great but hard to reach with high peaks when you have to shoot over a pool or lanai cage.
    Thank you, great video

    I've been watching every video on power washing, soft washing mostly and I've watched about 20 hours hours of videos in the past 3 days bcuz I'm about to start a second business doing this in the next week or 2 at most so I'm trying to learn as much as possible. Currently I have about $7000 saved up that I'm going to use to buy a rig. And from what I'm seeing thats enough to get what I need, I'm just torn between putting together my own build or buying a slightly used one already built. So I have questions I'm hoping you can help me with but I'd like to start off by saying thank you for what you do in these videos by trying to help people just like me. Most people don't want to tell their secrets, they want it to be just as hard if not harder on the next person as it was on them. I don't understand those kind of people so with that being said(👈your favorite phrase lol) I just want you to know I really do appreciate all your knowledge and your help up to this point. Thats sincere BTW
    I just heard you say your businesss brought in over a million last year. WOWW!! Very impressive 👏 I'm no a fan. Can I ask tho... how many owners are there and did you start this business on your own or buy into it after the fact? Why I ask that is that I'm gonna start this in Daytona Fla with my cousin but the financial part of this and all decisions are mine alone, I'm just letting him ride with me cuz he needs some help getting himself back on level ground plus I'm gonna want help at times also. Plus when I have to leave there in 5 months to come back home for the summer where I run my second business(its seasonal) I need him to take over for 6 months so I've got a lot to accomplish but I believe in this and myself so it'll work one way or the other lol. Anyway that's all I'm gonna bother you with at the moment but I'm positive I'm gonna be back here in the comments to ask you more things. Which will be about pricing and what to start charging and do you think with the money I have should I not get the hot water washer cuz one place I see for sure I'm not wanting to skimping is the pumps GPM flow. I was convinced yesterday I was gonna get A 4000 PSI Honda motor with a 8 GPM pump on it and hot water but after pricing everything today I'm seeing that that alone is like $5000😳 and the trailer is gonna be like $1,500 so those 2 things alone will wipe me out but those 2 things and a surface cleaner are the 3 main things I need then a 200 gallon water container and 2 50gallon chem containers hoses, hose reels, 2 wands and I believe I'm forgetting something major at the moment but it'll come to me. As well I know I'll need some other odds and ends so its looking I'm not gonna have enough to get everything I feel is important. I just don't like second stepping when I know I'm gonna upgrade to those things pretty fast so now my delimma is figuring out where is best to skimp and where I shouldn't skimp. I'm thinking now I should prolly forget the hot water for now, lower psi wants to 3200 and GPM to 5.5. Thats like $2500 savings right there but I wanted to get into all aspects of this, even cleaning restraunt hood fans and playground equipment a nd all the other fun things the equipment is is capable of doing. Maybe I should look more into getting a good priced used rig. I just hate buying used. I like knowing how good or bad something has been treated so only way thats possible is buying brand new. The stress is already starting 😫 HAHA ANG HELP ON THE MATTER WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED

  • @stevanhoffman4240
    @stevanhoffman4240 2 года назад

    I want to rig up 2 ball valves to the suction side of my 12v pump so that I can shut off chem and run a garden hose to one open ball valve to use as either rinse or to rinse the pump. Someone said any type of garden hose on the suction side is not good as it can introduce air into the system. Is that true? It also seems like it makes it kind of " busy" on that side.

We have a ton of question's always but people kinda go around the basic. they come close to answering but not dead on. Im having a what's the best pump to achieve what I keep seeing. I know this seems kinda weird to be posted. but alot of folks do just what I did, they look at the title and suddenly remember the pump they use isn't doing what they see pumps do and say -wow I just wish they would show the best and us watch the whole thing like we on ya shoulder. just think before ya blast me lol, I like watching and learning from ALL of you but I want walkthru's to see and learn from. Kinda like the black tube as a baffle. Im worried about it blocking the outlet and such .... can you help dispel that by doing it and then taking us for a ride and having a camera watch the tank, exactly how much you put in the tank and such-I hope you can follow this line of commenting I just did. thank you and keep posting video's!
