My Grandfather fought for us the words he said "This is not how the world should be" "we fought for everyone and this is what we get?'' ''When i go in heaven i better see the people i fought for and soon they realize what life was like''
Both of my grandfather's were in wars, my 1st one was in the Korean War, and my 2nd was in Vietnam, its a shame to see what the world has come too, knowing what soldiers in past wars have done,
20 days in Baghdad, my uncle was a maschine gunner he was a normal marine working along side the dev gru (seal team) he always told his story of the 20 days in Baghdad.
"Only the dead can see the end of war." "You see your brothers fall, you know you're the next on the list. However, you're not scared, because you know you will die for a great cause."
I sent this to my brother who had 3 tours in Afghanistan, he said all he ever heard at night was blairing alarms and explosions and had rockets hit the walls of his base as gunfire and tracers rained over head. He called it hell a place where no matter how fast you can run a bullet will catch up to you. He heard the c-rams and a line of tracer rounds shoot up in the sky after 6-7 seconds they would explode in the air. In his own words "I watched as a morter round hit a humvee expoded and scared the shit out of him"
“This book is to be neither an accusation nor a confession, and least of all an adventure, for death is not an adventure to those who stand face to face with it. It will try simply to tell of a generation of men who, even though they may have escaped shells, were destroyed by the war.” ― Erich Maria Remarque, All Quiet on the Western Front
I will never forgot the words a wise man once said “that’s not what our boys died for-“ he’s right. Respect to him and those soldiers who had to sacrifice themselves.

Stay hoping
Stay happy
Stay strong
Stay healthy
Stay friendly
Stay unagressive
Stay loving
Stay helping
Stay caring
Stay alive, you are not as bad, as you might think about yourself
You are as good, as you think you are and actually you are better than you think
You think you are very unhelpful, when you are actually help someone stay alive just by talking to them
You might think that you are unwanted anywhere, but at least someone is happy to see you
You might think nobody likes nor loves you, but there's a lot of alone people just like you, you will find your second part
Maybe you think there's no happy ending, but there's always happy stories, happy people, happy faces, happy moments and sometimes there's no happy you, it's ok, it is absolutely ok, stay alive and don't overthink yourself and everything will be alright.
Thank you, kind man. Your words coming out are filled with goodness. From Russia with love.

My Grandfather fought for us the words he said
"This is not how the world should be"
"we fought for everyone and this is what we get?''
''When i go in heaven i better see the people i fought for and soon they realize what life was like''
Both of my grandfather's were in wars, my 1st one was in the Korean War, and my 2nd was in Vietnam, its a shame to see what the world has come too, knowing what soldiers in past wars have done,
This song reminds me of the moment when my mom told me that war broke out

20 days in Baghdad, my uncle was a maschine gunner he was a normal marine working along side the dev gru (seal team) he always told his story of the 20 days in Baghdad.
"Only the dead can see the end of war."
"You see your brothers fall, you know you're the next on the list. However, you're not scared, because you know you will die for a great cause."
Good job it is PERFECT hope that all of you are having a nice day...

Atmosphere 2022.02.24 😭😭😭
I sent this to my brother who had 3 tours in Afghanistan, he said all he ever heard at night was blairing alarms and explosions and had rockets hit the walls of his base as gunfire and tracers rained over head. He called it hell a place where no matter how fast you can run a bullet will catch up to you. He heard the c-rams and a line of tracer rounds shoot up in the sky after 6-7 seconds they would explode in the air. In his own words "I watched as a morter round hit a humvee expoded and scared the shit out of him"
cool, now imagine his "enemies" (guys who had gold and oil). he doesn't deserve to feel sad
A hero isnt the one who is the best or the strongest but the one who suffers the most but still smiles.
“This book is to be neither an accusation nor a confession, and least of all an adventure, for death is not an adventure to those who stand face to face with it. It will try simply to tell of a generation of men who, even though they may have escaped shells, were destroyed by the war.”
― Erich Maria Remarque, All Quiet on the Western Front
I will never forgot the words a wise man once said “that’s not what our boys died for-“ he’s right. Respect to him and those soldiers who had to sacrifice themselves.
I always imagined it, thanks for the detail 👍👏
war is like a field and soldiers are like crops but the death here is only to collect the sick ones...
War is a place where the youth kills each other without hating each other and all because of some old men hating each other but not killing each other.
