I just wanna let you guys know that I have a Nike Lakota 2 head that I tried putting on a carbon 2.0 d pole and it had substantial head wobble. Good video keep up the excellent work
You guys need to make goalie 3.0. Liked your mesh but had to switch to throne because it’s just more consistent with passing but would love to try out 3.0 for goalies
Old School laxbro here - where are the wooden shafts? I've had many a player tell me after a crosscheck that wood is a better deterrent to driving to goal than some whippy alloy/carbon pole - they'd rather get hit on the wrist by an alloy than a tree trunk. I've played with Broken Arrow on long pole D and LSM @ 54" and attack and broken several opponent metal shafts and heads too. Do you have an ash, hickory or maple line as well?
@@ECD When you're 55 and still actively playing Box (granted, with a crew of guys who all have to work the next day) my shot isn't getting noticeably quicker by a few grams, but my cross checks and defense are substantially more powerful with the extra weight - especially when the opponent isn't expecting the blunt force trauma of wood. No doubt, if I was coming to the game today, it'd be an entirely different story. I picked it up in D3 college, and have played adult leagues ever since (Baggataway, ONELL), and I still prefer my Brine Shotgun on a tree trunk. Keep on truckin'!
If I got one it would probably be the mtx as I’m an o and d middie but I’m very rough. I use a metal shaft right now and it’s worked fine but if I ever switch I would get the mtx
I had purchased a shaft from dicks a couple weeks ago but unfortunately threw out the receipt. If it does break within 6 months would I still have my warranty?
are there any resources for the weights of the carbon 2.0 60 inch shaft versus the pro 2.0 60 inch? Found weights for short poles but couldn't find the d pole weights.
My carbon 2.0 shaft broke mid game but it took quite a beating even though it was it’s first season, but I liked that shaft so much I went to a ton of dicks sporting goods looking for it so I could have it for my game the next day
It’s called Planned obsolescence… look it up kids… buy a real Titanium shaft once you soft kids. Buy 1 shaft for life… in year 2000 bought it and still have it… I’m an Lacrosse All-American and MU Lacrosse Hall of Fame Member. Currently lacrosse companies are ripping you off.

Man u guys are the best, thanks for bringing great content to the lacrosse community, I’m saving up for your carbon 2.0 carbon power shaft!
Sounds like a great plan! Let us know if we can help
Love all of your shafts but please please bring back the Focus
An alloy is noted !
I love the carbon pro I used the original and the 2.0 as a goalie a light stick makes the fast movement's even faster
You guys should start making pads 👀 I would for sure rock some ECD gloves
that would be sick

Just picked up the carbon pro 2 and so far been lovin it!

Thanks for sharing! If you tape under the head or even use a scrap shooting string under the head you can eliminate the wobble
Men’s player here. Trying out the mtx that I bought, excited to use it today. Thanks for making great products
Hope you enjoy it!
@@ECD feels great! Extremely fun with the mirage 2.0.
Box shaft, goalie head. Done
Can you do this with your heads as well? Great vid
We did! Search back a little
they've done this with there heads. You can scroll down a little bit on there page or search it up.

We are working on new mesh and a goalie head!
My dragonfly just snapped so I need a new shaft and I remember this video.
OH no! let us know if you have any other questions
Very creative!!
Thank you! 😊
I’m not a physical d player and a mainly o middie and I found the ltx to be perfect
That sounds about right!
@@ECD I really want a carbon but I have seen way to many snap and break in weather and even in perfect conditions is the new line better?

Wood shafts are no joke, however they do come with a lot of weight behind them which players are really not into these days.

Buying the power and the defense pole soon
Love to hear that!
i would love to use the pro i just wish they would make a version without the grip on it not a fan of it
Breaking the box shaft, I'll try.
Go for it!
Yo Greg, I just bought carbon pro 2.0 flex 3 and Mirage 2.0. Hopefully this will be good for my first high school season
lucky

for a goalie who likes a short shaft would you say get an attack shaft or cut the goalie one?
You can do either but it might be easiest to just buy a 30"
Great Vid man. Now I know for my new shaft ima get the carbon pro 2.0 speed
Great choice! Let us know if you have any specific questions about it.
I got it a couple months ago, and I love it!
I just got it today. So far I’m loving it. Thank you again ECD! Ur the best!
Got a kinetik on a carbon 2.0 pro power those cranks are crazy
what is weight of the Pro Power Shaft? Is the speed or power recommended for a goalie?
just bought mtx and mirage 2.0 smack corners out of the box!
Love hearing that!
I just broke my 2.0 sad but proud of myself from how durable I heard it was
I’m a FOSO and I love the Carbon Pro 2.0 power too much to not use it at the faceoff
The power is definitely the better option out of the Carbon fiber line up to use if that is what you like!
Thanks for making this vid, when are you relesing that other shaft?
You’ll just have to stay tuned for that announcement
Can you make a durability test video for each shaft?
I will see what we can put together
Recently I got a CF5 complete, how does the CF5 carbon shaft compare to an ltx or carbon pro?
It’s an older version of the carbon
As a defenseman what head of yours do you recommend using and what stringing style for the pocket
Rebel defense
Rebel D or DNA with a high pocket
New lacrosse player here👋🏾 looking to play D, I like to be aggressive on D in any sport. Which stick would you recommend?
What age group will you be playing in?
What ever happened to the focus line? Did the bravo 1 replace it?
We just really believe the future is in carbon fiber shafts. The bravo 1 did not replace it as was designed for a totally different player in mind
Any possibility of a faceoff specific shaft with the weapon X in the near future
There really is a real advantage to a faceoff specific shaft.
Hi Greg, you emphasize that MTX is stronger than LTX, but how is it stronger? Thicker shaft? Denser weave? Can you provide any data for comparison?
It is slightly heavier as well in simple terms there is more textreme material.
I’m actually thinking about the mtx, how do you use 3 screws for the weapon x? And what screws do you use in them?
We use the a self tapping stainless steel number 8 screw
I have the carbonPRO 2.0 i look to run with one hand however does it hold back the shooting?
I also play defense does this effect my play?
Should not hold back shooting at all
What’s the weight on the bravo alloy shaft? Also great video !
the complete stick is around 300 grams
First carbon is the best I think
How come ? Would love to hear your feedback
If I bought the Ltx from a retailer does the warranty still work
Of course
I do need a new goalie shaft
We have two specific to choose from any questions about either?
How do you wash lacrosse heads and mesh when it’s dirty without breaking it or messing it up
Don’t wash the mesh
You really can't clean the mesh once it gets dirty. However you can use soap to clean your head.
@@ECD thank you
I have looked up the carbon 2.0 and I haven’t seen it what happened?
Great video helps a bit
Glad it helped
Would u recommend the carbon 2 box for goalies because I just don't want my shaft to break
Yes!!!
So, if you are a goalie but like a short shaft...where should the kick point be?
Comes down to preference but higher would be better.
Hey Greg, I got the MTX awhile ago and I had a problem removing the insert from the shaft in order for my heads to fit on? What do you suggest
You can use a blow dryer or heat gun to loosen the glue holding that in place, then you can remove it with a pair of needle nose pliers
What would be a good shaft for a goalie?
The best in our line up would be the Carbon Pro 2.0 Goalie shaft
So is the mid kick going to be like a low kick and high kick?
There is no mid kick point, the Carbon 2.0 would be a natural flex throughout the entire shaft.
Let’s Go!!!
Which shaft fits your game ?
@@ECD one that doesn’t snap a month after the warranty ends😭
Week*
would a epoch z1 fit on a 2.0 power
Yes
just recently snapped two 60 in carbon 2.0's in a span of two weeks but they're out of warranty
I would like to call that bad luck, shoot us an email to sales@ecdlax.com
As a crease/x attack-man what would you recommend?
Either the Carbon Pro 2.0 Speed or Ltx, age could also play a big factor
Can we get a return of the ECD Focus?
Possibly later down the line!
I have a head rattle on a mirage 2.0 and a carbon 3.0 pro power
You can throw a little piece of tape under the head and that should help!
which one is best for faceoffs/ the weapon X
Probably the Bravo 1, Carbon Shafts are not great for Faceoff
I had purchased a shaft from dicks a couple weeks ago but unfortunately threw out the receipt. If it does break within 6 months would I still have my warranty?
if i wanted to make the best d pole set up for close d what would you recommend?
Rebel D paired with a Carbon Pro 2.0
are there any resources for the weights of the carbon 2.0 60 inch shaft versus the pro 2.0 60 inch? Found weights for short poles but couldn't find the d pole weights.
The pro is 348 grams compared to the 2.0 being 360 grams

Do you have a video like this for heads?
Yes,

I have the ecd rebel and the ecd carbon first gen I don't know what happened but my head wabbel is horrible
Try placing a small shooting string or tape under the head. It should fix the wobble

@@ECD thx
@@ECD Thx i just bought it today
is the ltx 30 grams or 130?
130
Is the carbon 2.0 d pole lighter than the carbon pro 2.0 d pole?
No the pro is slightly lighter
Is there a weight difference between the carbon pro 2.0 speed and the power???
Yes about 10 grams but the biggest difference is in the flex and kick point. What position do you play?
@@ECD I play attack
@@ECD and I assume that the power is heavier?
Is there any flex on the carbon 2 box?
Flex 1
Why don't you guys recommend carbon fiber shafts for face off guys?
It creates too much flex and torque at the top of the shaft and can cause damage
Why do you recommend alloy shafts for faceoff guys?
It creates less torque and flex making it easier to get the ball and less tension on the screws and top 1/3 of the shaft.
How much does the carbon 2.0 box weigh
170 GRAMS
new d shafts soon?
Possibly...
My carbon pro2.0 just broke in my game yesterday
Man I would buy mine right away if only i had the money 🥲 I rock an stx 6000
And im in highschool
I broke the carbon 2 box shaft playing box
We have a 6 month warranty!
Why is carbon bad for faceoff? I use weapon X with carbon 2.0.
The two products together are playable but the alloys will be the better shaft as they don't have as much flex when you are trying to win the ball.
What about GOALIEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSS!!!!
Nah ... you got to it
My carbon 2.0 shaft broke mid game but it took quite a beating even though it was it’s first season, but I liked that shaft so much I went to a ton of dicks sporting goods looking for it so I could have it for my game the next day

@@ECD carbon pro 2.0 defense!
what happened to the focus?
It just never really gained a lot of popularity compared to our Carbon line and with Carbon fiber the options are endless!
Why is carbon not good for FOGO's?
Sometimes they can create too much torque and flex and cause issues around the top of the shaft related to the screws.
I was able to break a carbon box while shooting
