bro it depends which state you belong but actually most states have the textbook same as ncert i.e of cbse ;s these state textbooks are mostly an adaption of ncert same to same is copy pasted so it doesnt matter where u go if u are studious but going through state borad is better acording to me as the level is easier so less tension in board exams than cbse's another advantage is same predicted ques come in state boards and you can easily write and one more point in cbse you only have exam in 12th but in state u will have annual board exam i.e every year so you will atleast study the basics to write boards which will help you in 12th jee and bitsat so you will hav more clarity and an edge over others but in cbse u will write bords in 12th i hope so so u will lose touch with subject dont think much u can crack iit also bits can be cracked but u need practice and study consistently from now on atlleast
