Hi Kelly I hope you feel better, On a side note I am also autistic and used to be a workaholic, I never used to listen to my body, I do now, I had so many chronic illness in the past from not listening to my emotions until I trained in Acupuncture, 18 years ago, acupuncture definitely talks about emotions definitely reside in the body ,they teach us about the 5 emotions at college, They believe the physical and emotional are all connected, Our physical symptoms are usually a barometer for whats going on emotionally, I've often found if for example I have some physical symptoms if I sort out whats going on in my head then the physical symptoms heal up too,
