Awesome video. I just diagnosed a P1221 TPS issue that is causing an occasional engine derate as well. Looked at your vid to see how time consuming to replace the throttle body unit and was happy to see I could do that in about 12 minutes. Was surprised to see you reply that it does not need a re-learn. Even the part supplier mentions a relearn on replacement.
Best video on this topic! Wow, it did the trick. My Envoy runs so much better. I appreciate your attention to detail, especially on things like how to remove the electrical connectors (clips, etc). Others surely would have broken one! You saved me hundreds and I have a great feeling of accomplishment. Thanks!

Just replaced my wife’s throttle body on her 06 Envoy xl -with a friends discount it was around $370 with gasket-had it cleaned earlier in the year but this seems to be working well! +Kylo Ren 89 inch-pounds is correct. The manifold is plastic. Excessive torque would likely cause damage.
