@@ultragamer8816 yeah, I haven’t gone near a mansion, pillager captain (outside my raid farm) and a hundred blocks away from all bastions. Vexes and brutes are my weakest links. I have a very nice hardcore world I am not willing to risk.

@@ultragamer8816 I was at first, but now my long-term survival world is where I do all the stupid stuff. It’s been good training. I’m getting very good at invisibility and fire resistance potions in bastions. I only died once. I have four sets of netherite everything and about 20 elytra. I had more netherite gear, but lost some in a bastion. I got everything but a pickaxe and sword back. Had to steal some back from a piglin and go swimming at the bottom of the lava lake to get other things. Lost a shulker box, but I have a lot of them and a stack of shells. I have enough experience now that I have made it about 500 days in my hardcore world. I used to joke that I should just put myself in a hole and say I survived 1000 days, but where’s the fun in that?

It's a shame that Sips wasn't included. His death falling into a massive pit that he dug, after saying countless times how it's going to kill him, still makes me laugh.

It hurts seeing so many players get owned in their own base because they thought they were safe when they didn't do any spawnproofing (or worse, spawnproofed the airblocks next to walls and ceilings, instead of spawnproofing the ground where mobs can spawn).
An unlit base is more dangerous than any biome because you can't see the mobs coming to get you

15:43 The other problem with spamming is that you could easily pick the water back up which is definitely not going to work.
A thing I learned the hard way from hardcore is that shields only protect you from creepers (or any attack) only once they’ve been raised for 3 seconds.
It’s not quite 3 seconds but you are absolutely correct! There is an *intentional* delay of 5 game ticks where the shield wont block anything. It’s so incredibly stupid. It almost completely defeats the purpose of having a shield in the game. Thankfully this delay is easy to remove with a mod but it’s just ridiculous, I shouldn’t need a mod to make shields work. They should just work. 🤦🏻♂️
In bedrock edition shields are just "🗿"

I've never died to a creeper in my hardcore worlds. I usually place a block in front to reduce the blast damage or use a shield.
But my most recent death was getting hit off a cliff in the nether into the middle of a deep lava pool no fire res
Do hoglins always knock you 5 feet into the air or was my case just unfortunate.

yes hoglins have massive knockback, i figured it out the unfortunate way when 1 spawned on my 1 block wide bridge
I got knocked off my bridge when i was bridging across a bastion, abt 2-3 blocks in the air and got knocked off into lava 💀
Honestly you should keep making awesome world videos. I liked your channel so much more before the hardcore series took over and I’ve been watching the main channel since maybe 50k subs.

7:36 Tapl. You realize we are watching this. Not experiencing this real time. He may not have seen the creeper at the same time that we did. Could have been focused on a key on the keyboard, something in the recording room that caught his eye, literally anything. If he did see it, he still had mere seconds to react. Seconds. I think people forget those things. Saying “I expect better”.. seems a tad unfair. Commenters do the same thing. They sit there watching a death reaction video. Which already gives us an advantage of what’s to come that the players don’t have IRL. Then acts judgy af, like they would do so much differently. Would you? In literal seconds? Most would have the same end.

@3:12 This is a bug, it happens mostly when your lagging. The game thinks your going faster than you really are when you land. I popped dozens of totems from this while playing on my old laptop. I would land so incredibly gracefully and the game would still insta-kill me lol. 🤦🏻♂️

Those few players who drowned, should've used the bucket they had. Just stand next to a wall and spam click the bucket in the head level

Moral of the story, ALWAYS HAVE A SHEILD and if you have a shield, know how to use it

At 3:15 he died because on java edition if you face downwards with an elytra when you land you will take all of the fall damage you would have taken from the height you 'fell'.
4:53 always keep elytra on your hotbar when not wearing it, that way you can see it.
(Or look at your armour points before jumping off)
Even more useful in 1.19.4 with the armour swap ability
but u can only swap if if your touching a block

For me the crazy and painful hardcore deaths are the ones when people have atleast more than 500 days in because then theres time and dedication in the game
But people dying with literally iron tools and sometimes not even that is basiclly "nothing" because you can just get that progress in like 10 minutes but i guess thats just my opinion
I agree but really way too many people just play hardcore to say that they do, even though they're just not good enough for it. For example all of the people that attacked the creepers instead of running away
For those who drown and have 10 wood a empty or full bucket: craft a crafting table and then a door/ fill up the bucket with water and hold right mousebutton on the block of your head to slowly regain the boubles.
If you burn in singleplayer: leave and rejoin to get 2 1/2 sek of no damage.
If you die from a creeper: avoid night and mine in f5 mode
If you die to often play survival

Sb the reason why the shield thing didn't work for him is bcus if you got on 1.15 when your shield gets hit it unblocks for some wierd reason

There’s three things you need immediately. Elytra, totem and feather falling…
Those are end game, when you start a new hardcore world, shields, water buckets and composure are the most important, once you've reached end game, totems, elytra and feather falling will be important.
Why don’t these people use totems?
Feather Falling, Blast Protection and Fire Protection lol. All of these are falling, creepers and lava haha.

ill tell you my hardcore death experience i was fighting two skeletons in cave WERE I FELL INTO i got pushed into water i had like five hearts and two hunger at the time because i got hit by the skeleton when i fell into the water and i was stupid enough to not eat the gapple before i fell my sheild got disabled cause of water so i got to 1 heart i got out of the water kept holding my sheild until i tried to eat but the two skeletons were shooting in at the same time they hit me every second so the second i eat a gapple my sheild gets disabled and it shoots me and im dead and i lost like 26 diamonds when i was mining there😭😭
It annoys me when people don't use totems when they're playing hardcore.

SB the shield did not break at 7:02 the shield got on cooldown after the first creeper explosion and the second creeper killed him. If u see closely after 1st explosion the shield had green durability bar.
super easy way to not get surprised by creepers- toggle your perspective if youre in a sticky situation so you can see everything going on around you!!
They don’t even need totems they just need to think for a sec before they make stupid moves but the only exception is if a creeper falls on you that’s just unlucky

1:20 the reason his shield dropped is because the skeletons arrow just hit him. When you’re hit it drops your shield for about a second and that was unfortunate 😂
The lack of totems is disturbing.
Too many people try to find air when they're drowning.
Best thing to do is to go to the roof and dig one block straight up for air.

if you fall into lava, you can do the fire res thing where you log and get 3 seconds of fire res.

when you are falling in single player from a height cant you just leave when you are near the surface and rejoin?
i think that cancels the fall dmg?
A few of these guys were unlucky, but most were just bad at minecraft
14:20 can't they just use the empty water bucket and spam right click on a block? It makes you immune to losing bubble and you wil regain all of them and you can just work your way up. im confused.
