The way everyone looks and sounds so considerate to the maker of the documentary (Liv McNeil) warms my heart. I love the scene where Sofia asks for the music to be cut so that the editing will be easier.
This whole movie, the behind the scenes, the whole production and all the clips and pictures that come out is just all so aesthetic. Everyone seems to have great energy and the overall vibe is so feminine and magical like a little tale💋Maybe it was made to be that way
Remember, we can and should be critical of the things we love. There's so much I love about Sofia films like Priscilla, but there are also so many film flaws as well as issues with glorifying this particular story.
I don’t think Sofia is glorifying or glamorizing Elvis and Priscilla’s relationship at all. Cailee Spaeny does such a good job showing how increasingly trapped Priscilla feels in this marriage and at Graceland in general. It looks like a fairy tale but it’s really not
Lisa Marie Presley politely wrote to Sofia to not release this defamatory movie,yet her devilish mother went on with it months after her only daughter died !!!!
Lisa lost her father young and grew up in a world that villainised her mother while turning him into a God, she was absolutely the least reliable narrator in all of this. She wasn’t even alive for any of this and on top of that had that strange complex where a child hates the parent that lived because they’ve idealised the one that died.
@jakestroll6518she was ab*sed by prissy. Of course she couldn’t stand her. Common sense. Elvis is innocent get a life and research the real prissy pants
who is the person doing the doc? sorry but why should we care about what she thinks about certain things :/ im not trying to be mean, i just dont get it
Priscilla only wanted money living off of the Presley name during this another Elvis & me movie to ride the coattails of Elvis from Baz that Lisa didn’t want Priscilla the movie …. This movie is Bad..😡🤬
Lisa was bratty to not understand that her mother has her own need to be seen and understood. She died never seeing her mother as just another human being who’s entitled to flaws but also compassion and vindication. To live under the shadow of your groomer, save his estate from financial ruin and be hounded by his fans all of your life is a crazy life. I hope Priscilla now gets to tell the rest of her story.
@jakestroll6518shut up. Prissy is now trying to downplay Lisa’s ab*se from her that she wrote in her book. Priscilla doesn’t have a right to do that. What tf is your point
It had a 20 mill budget and made 33 mill thats not a flop and it was acclaimed she is not a nepo baby she has created her own path. What have you done with your life i have written books on movies you probably work at mcds 😂😂
@65g4who cares about critics...I've never believed they're totally objective. In fact, many of the movies that critics like aren't loved by audiences, and vice versa. This movie is slow and boring and it doesn't reflect reality. Characters are flat and there is not a deep analysis of the story behind. We didn't see any of her affairs in the marriage (and she had many) so it's obvious the intent was to bash the man and sanctify the woman. Typical of Coppola's cinematography

the hug at the end between cailee and jacob got me sobbing. Their friendship is beautiful

One of my favorite movies, everyone did such a great job!
I'll never stop talking about this movie
This is a 'making of'. Not a bunch of interviews with actors talking about the movie like a lot of these 'making of' videos.
one of my favorite videos to ever exist.

Nothing lovable about an insulting biopic!

@tiffanyb94😂😂😂 how a big trap 😂😂😂 She was so trapped that fooled around having affairs. Come on 😂😂😂
The movie is simply just telling, not glorifying.
When is the movie out?
it’s already out :)
❤❤

Right, how dare Priscilla give the ok to have a movie released about HER life!
Lisa lost her father young and grew up in a world that villainised her mother while turning him into a God, she was absolutely the least reliable narrator in all of this. By any chance does anyone know what's the song name at the beginning of the video?
It’s “My Elixir” from the Priscilla soundtrack!
who is the person doing the doc? sorry but why should we care about what she thinks about certain things :/ im not trying to be mean, i just dont get it
why not
she’s the author)
@nastyatumysthe author of what?😅
The doc is likely narrated by Sophia's daughter Romy Mars who was 17 at the time. You can actually see her standing right next to Sofia at 13:56
@Flukydaze no its not
@Girl-ud2cc How could u tell

Another film by the nepobaby 👍 . That's why the film flops
another smooth brained individual out in the wild 😌
@MessyLyradon't embarrass yourself, stop apologizing for the nepobaby.
@MessyLyra at a certain point there is reason to be upset many outsiders with no connections can't succeed. look at Annete Benning's daughter.
She's made some pretty incredible films, I think she's far exceeded the nepo baby label.
It had a 20 mill budget and made 33 mill thats not a flop and it was acclaimed she is not a nepo baby she has created her own path. What have you done with your life i have written books on movies you probably work at mcds 😂😂
👎🏻terrible and false
Are we surprised this was not a big success? No 🥱
it was with critics saying the best films she did since Lost In Translation who care about box office films last long than that
