I'm a bit late to the party, but I just started on Pond 5, trying to make a bit of money during college. These videos have made me feel a lot better going into the process man.
Thanks for expressing your interest in selling Music with Envato. We are temporarily not accepting new authors, but we have recorded your details and will get in touch as soon as we start onboarding new sellers again! Tried same a year ago.
Excellent video, thanks for the help! One question: have you made some marketing activity along with uploading the tracks, or just uploaded and wait for the sales?
Good question. With Audiojungle there's enough traffic to generate sales without promotional support, however I have slowly been uploading the songs to RUclips on another account to generate some extra interest. This has been a great way to boost sales for many authors!
Congrats man. And yes Daniel is awesome! I have been doing Pond5 for almost 2 years now, though I did not really do much at the beginning in terms of uploading. Once I engaged it, then I started seeing results, not like yours, but with effort came reward and I can say that since Pond5 changed the revenue split, 75% of my tracks have been business licenses. I don't know if it has been luck, I am writing better, or Pond5 is motivated to sell higher license fees. So I have not seen a drop in revenue, mind you I am not nearly as consistent with sales as you. Great video, subbed!
Hey Brian that's great to hear man! I've been neglecting my Pond 5 account in the last few months to be honest, was feeling a bit discouraged by the revenue cut but now that I've started a non exclusive AJ account I'll have to push myself harder to upload to Pond 5. Checked out some of your music, great stuff! Thx for the sub!
Thanks for the video and for going a step further to offer feedback! I have a good deal of music but at the beginning of the learning curve for the business side of licensing.. That's a real help!
Thanks for this. New to the whole thing and opened a few of Daniel's videos too...I am getting contract work from a(mainly internet)PR firm but, that is project based, so I made the decision to enter the market as well. Thanks again!
There is a video on RUclips why people get rejected and its for various reasons. Its about Audio Jungle. Volume all over the place making people jump. Mixing poor or mastering poor or audio samples poor quality. Needs to keep building for interest but doesn't or takes too long to get going. Tune is boring and doesn't go anywhere etc. And sounds like the rest already out there. Various reasons.

Do I have to upload my tax information before start selling? Because i don't have it at the moment and I really don't know how
Thanks Marc! When uploading to AJ they provide you with a watermark loop (voice which says 'Audiojungle') which you must overlay onto a preview track. It's a bit of extra work unfortunately. Other libraries like Pond 5 do this for you.
Marc Davis it’s a loop wav file with a lady saying ‘Audiojungle’ that you have to download from the author’s resources section of Envato, I’m going to make a comprehensive video tutorial on the whole process very soon, stay tuned!
Hey DJ Posfet, I'm not sure I totally understand the question, After you buy a song from Audiojungle, you don't own the rights to claim it as your own title, you are just buying a license to use the song as part of your content without paying royalties to the owner.
Thank you for the inspiration, I'm just curious how much music did you upload to earn your first $1,000? I would really appreciate your reply because I know you are busy. Thanks for the motivation too. Have a great day! 😀
It’s been so long it’s hard to remember exactly 😅 but probably about 30 tracks or so. Audiojungle isn’t the same as it used to be though, things change fast in this biz!
After watching your video I finally uploaded 3 song today, I have been a member since 2018 ...and never uploaded a single song. You explained the process in way that many including myself could understand. Thanks once again!!

Nice! Good luck to you Ezra
I'm overwhelmed by the saturation of these sites, which makes not feel like trying
Happy to hear this platform is working out for you.
Thanks!
If these companies don't give you a reason for rejection, then you should be very cautious about being EXCLUSIVE with them.

Thanks man!
Thanks for sharing. I’ve subbed, and I’m looking forward to more.
Great video! You got a subscriber!
Keep it up
Cheers!
Great tips I never tried that but I will register to those sides!
What do you mean by watermark ourselves ?
Thanks Marc! When uploading to AJ they provide you with a watermark loop (voice which says 'Audiojungle') which you must overlay onto a preview track. It's a bit of extra work unfortunately. Other libraries like Pond 5 do this for you.
Stevie B Music that’s good to know
Do they have a standard voice or do you have to speak it yourself ? Haha
Marc Davis it’s a loop wav file with a lady saying ‘Audiojungle’ that you have to download from the author’s resources section of Envato, I’m going to make a comprehensive video tutorial on the whole process very soon, stay tuned!
Stevie B Music Thanks for the info :)
hi after buy the song i can upload music on youtbe with title? for example ( dj posfet - name song)

Excellent, you are an inspiration.
Thanks!
Have you registered your tracks to ascap or bmi before uploading on audiojungle?
Melvon Music yes, always. SOCAN here in Canada. You can always register songs later too
@@Steven_Beddall is there a difference if i register my tracks on ascap or in philippines, Filscap..?
@@mpaudiobox-royaltyfreemusicfor every PRO is a bit different in terms of what they offer, I'm not totally familiar with the details of each though
Stevie B Music i see. Thanks for the info 🙂
Thank you :)
Great video .. Keep unloading bro 👌
Thanks!

Thanks Pedro!

@@Steven_Beddall I really appreciate your reply. Thank you. Ok I'll try 30 tracks. Lol! Have a great day Sir! 😀
Hey.. Do you know FREE good orchestra CST plugins?? Because I use Edirol Orchestra and idk will AudioJungle accept me..
Spitfire Audio LABS has some cool free orchestral plugins. Also Kontakt I believe offers some free instruments and free player download.
@@Steven_Beddall do you know Majesta orchestra for Kontakt?
@@Steven_Beddall OAH, REALLY IT'S COOL, YOU'RE CUTE!!
Stevie B Music I wasn’t aware they had free content but sure they have excellent sound libraries
@@javiceres do you make template for your music? Do you make it?
Which DAW do you use?
Logic X
Great Job!
do we have to watermark ourself?
Kobi Hokima for Audiojungle yes, Pond 5 no
@@Steven_Beddall
With AJ you can control the volume of the watermark voice. With Pond5 you can't, and it's far too loud
tom kent with AJ it has to be a certain volume, if it’s too quiet they will make you resubmit
Thanks for the info..
