Xylem helps water utility remove micropollutants through innovative AOP solution

Dutch water utility Dunea set out to find a solution to eliminate micropollutants from its water sources, while tackling the challenge of toxic bromate. Xylem worked with Dunea to help them develop the world’s first sequential advanced oxidation process (AOP) system. The groundbreaking solution uses a unique process that combines Xylem technology with natural purification from dunes in the landscape to reduce micropollutants in water by up to 90%.
