there a many kpop singers who have better timbre and breath control (eg APink Eunji, Red Velvet SeulGi) - but regardless - she brings great emotional power to her singing - and that lifts her from merely competent singers - you have a right to your opinion - and while I don't regard her as highly as you do - I still enjoy her singing - cuz singing is crucial to my musical taste - i probably wouldn't be a fan of GFriend without her

@@aangkorra - they appeared in an adhoc group singing a song on a show and both sang brief solos - and Seulgi sang with more focus (ie better tone) - with superb legato - and at least as powerfully as Yuju - as a fan of Yuju - I acknowledge there are many better singers technically - she is great at expressing emotions - if she were in better control of her voice - she would be among the kpop top

Gfriend's role here is definitely with supporting vocals. His voice is really soothing and blends well with the girls. (He's not the prince of TROT for nothing!)
