Matt, if you haven't continued playing this game, you NEED to. It is a beautiful game, seems to have an amazing storyline and great art as well as being an interesting and challenging experience. I'd say it feels sort of like the movie Interstellar in terms of drama, and it pulls off the story it's trying to tell masterfully. A well-engineered story, and the gameplay doesn't suffer in the least because of it.
I would absolutely love more, but honestly it really really makes me miss Planet Crafter too. You and Drae are my favorite and i miss both of your series.
Ooh, this is probably the most intriguing game I've seen in a while. The game cycle looks solid but it's also got a good story going with it. Would love to see more of this.
@Real Civil Engineer Thought I would let you know that each jump does permanent damage to the ship and the damage over time also increases from them as well as you will want to make sure to have a lot of alloy factories in place. You can also enter a death spiral from overwork where accidents ramp up over all the main suggestion is to save before each jump just in case. At some point, I suggest you check out another game that was released yesterday on Steam Dwarf Fortress.
Loving this game. It's very inspired by Frostpunk (another great game you should play on the channel, especially as it has a sequel coming out) Assuming it follows the footsteps of Frostpunk, there may be laws that have to be put in place, sacrifices and it'll get harder as it goes.
0:54 "we've head towards this incredible space station and this gonna be our city in SKY" how's that a city in sky if you're in space, it's a city in space Matt!?
Hey Matt! You should play Black Skylands! Its a steampunk skyship type of game and you upgrade it and do different quests. Its a great indie game that could def fit you. It's available on steam.
I look forward to the sandbox version of this game that'll come out at some point so he can put buildings in the strongest shape without jeopardizing all of humanity. Oh who ware we kidding...that's coming in episode 2.
I will say, I had actually very much had this game on my radar, but unfortunately this Christmas season is a bit rough. So I will just look forwards to living out this game vicariously through you!
I’m so interested in the story of this game. Reminds me of FrostPunk even though it’s in the opposite direction. Maybe I could get it for my dad for Christmas…

RCE : Architects wasted the Earth and it's up to us, Engineers, to save humanity ! Also RCE : *proceed to annihilate said Earth (and the Moon for good measure)* That was quite the architect move if I ever saw one.

I love this game but it's SO tough. after the first few hurdles it gets easier, but I really dont want to admit the amount of times I've reloaded a save because I: forgot food; forgot iron for hull repair; forgot water for the food; forgot to build new housing; forgot electricity; forgot to send out probes for the mines; forgot about the weather moving & all my ships died; forgot to watch out for overwork; forgot--... I'm going to stop. Good game though. Very enjoyable and not stressful at all
This game looks very similar to Startopia, except with some additonal stuff and not just building your station. Startopia was fun, so this game is probably pretty nice as well.
I love how Matt's let's play formula is basically "let me explain the game to you" xD
It works! I enjoy it haha
And explain it how he would play it xdd the best way
Better than not explaining enough and leaving half the audience wondering what's going on

It's like this game was partially inspired by Startopia, with the whole circular map design.
One of the favorite games of my childhood.
Just came looking for the name. such a fun game
Oh you have to make this a series. It's such a cool looking game.
