This is the most complicated Fusion tutorial I've seen but I've learned a lot. Can't imagine the normal video editor going through this process to create a pie chart. LOL
You make some awesome videos. I want to use them and know how. I just have not taken the time to include them in videos. Thanks for making the videos. I hope to incorporate these some day.
@@EssentialVideoEditing Well yeah I'm looking for everything like there are a Few Videos on Anim Curves, Perturb & Shake modifier but still there's a bit of Confusion. May I get the link to that Reference Manual here ? Or you can tell me where it's on BMD'S Site.
Hi! I really hope you can do a tutorial if it would be possible to create a macro or a template for Alex Hormozi style subtitles where colors change per word. It is such waste of time to format the subtitles each time you start a new project. By the way, I would like to say THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR EVERYTHING THAT YOU DO OR THIS CHANNEL DOES esp for wannabe editors like me!
Thank you for asking, but I'm not sure if I fully understand the request, changing the styles/colors per word seems to be very easy especially with the basic Text tool in DaVinci Resolve, it's like a richtext editor where you select the word and change the style, and you can copy the text for the next caption to reuse the word style settings. And you can also save the text to Power Bins for reuse in different projects. Maybe I'm wrong, It would be very helpful if you can share a bit more about your workflow, so I can see what are the challenges you're facing. Thanks.
@@EssentialVideoEditing omg! thank you so much for replying! ❤ sorry for being unclear. yes, that's what i have been doing too. but for example if the subtitle is one line: "THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING THAT YOU DO" and i want the first 2 words in yellow and the rest is in white, I would usually highlight the words "thank you" and change it in yellow. But once i copy the text clip for the next line and write something else, the entire sentence will all be in white. So i have to hightlight again the first 2 words and change it to yellow again. is there a better way of doing it or maybe a macro/ template? 😅 thank you so much again! 🙏🙏🤗🤗 Im scared to put a link here and i might be tagged as spammer but if you check "Alex Hormozi" videos and the kind of subtitles he has, thats what i meant. lol!
@piochuajr if you enter the second line word by word, it keeps the previous colors, not ideal, but it saves some time. Yes it's possible to create a macro for this. I will see what I can do.
The template is created in DR free version 18, it uses the basic fusion and 3D tools, and should work in all editions, I just tested, it also works in DR 17 free version, can you provide more detail of what is not working?

Although I'm curious to know when will you express your prowess with all the Modifiers Explanatory Video in Detail ??
Modifiers are pretty big topics, are you looking for anything specific? I always go to the DaVinci Resolve Reference Manual for technical details.
