Thank you so much for this review, the ora 3 doesn't say 'recovery slide' but now I know that it is and the next generation and they didn't have my size in the previous model so I think that the stores are still selling the previous ones but they are being phased out. My podiatrist said that I need to wear rocker shoes for my partial plantar plate tear so these are perfect since I do not want to wear the running shoes all summer.
Hi! Yeap, these are the 3rd Gen. I’m not sure if they’re gonna stop production of the Gen 2s completely though. Do go down to the store to try them on, for sizing and to get a rough idea on the comfort, especially if it’s your first time using rocker shoes. Hope your plantar injury recovers soon and that the sandal would help! 😊🙏🖤
Are you from Singapore? You sound like it. After my first trip to SG to visit my gf I learnt I need something like this but all I had at the time was a pair of too small slippers from Dyso.. It rains so much I couldn't wear closed toe tennishoes without getting them soaked.
Good program. I find the Hoka Ora recovery two slides to have a way to high arch and it's very uncomfortable. All of my weight rest on the arch rather than the ball of my heel or toe bread is very uncomfortable and unnatural for me. I believe you are correct however the third version looks to be far too slippery on the interior. I predict lawsuits?
Hey man! Yes the 2nd gen has a slightly higher arch support and is slightly more firm, coupled with the "rocker design" you might feel it being unstable if you're not used to the rocking motion. I personally enjoyed the 2nd gen alot. The 3rd gen still has that same "rocker design" but the arch support is less pronounced. So far after wearing it out thrice, I have no issues with the footbed being slippery. But I have yet to test it out when it's wet 😅 Hope it helps!
Same thing with me. I have high arches and I still found arch support in v2 to be a bit too much, to the point of not being as comfortable as I'd expect
I despise the rim around the toes. Horrible feeling having my toes rub against the toe rim. I regret getting them. I wish I would’ve gotten last gen model.
I have used them both for awhile now and I enjoy both of them just as much. In terms of comfort/cushioning id say the ora 3s in terms of fitting id say ora 2s. Hope it helps :)
@@shawnsylabol it does thank you Ill be going with the new versions, Im a perfect UK 9.5 and in UK sizes they only come in half sizes, do you think I should stay true to size and go with the 9.5 or go for 10.5. I do wear socks sometimes in sliders
@@liamtomlinson7155 the place where Im at does not have half sizes, if you manage to find half sizes id say go true :) As stated in my video I highly recommend going to a store near you to try them on, cuz of the back rim design but if its too troublesome id say true or half size up!
Sorry for the late response! Yeah both slides would be ok for flat feet since they offer more stability and support compared to regular slides/flipflops. But if you have more serious medical conditions or injuries you might want to get specific slides recommended by doctors. Hope it helps :)
Hey! Sorry for the late response, it does pick up bit of dirty but not an excess amount where it hinders walking. They are easy to clean as well not to worry. Nope they are not sticky. Hope it helps :)
the review i never knew i needed
My G 🖤🖤🖤
I have the HOKA 2 and I luv them😊. FYI I’m recovering from Plantar fasciitis surgery and the HOKA brand are amazing.
Yeah the 2nd Gens are hard to beat! That’s great to hear :) Speedy recoveries!
love your reviews so much!
Thank you bro 😊🙏🖤
@@shawnsylabol of course! I think I've watched all your videos now, you do a great job with all the information. might have to get a pair of these

nice! the only one who mentioned that the foot slides forward in the socks. That's why I will choose Birks. tnx!

Yeap from Singapore! Ah yeah the weather here is pretty erratic, always gotta have a pair of slippers on stand by haha
Thanks for the video and description on the sizing!
No worries! Thanks for watching :) Hope it helped!
hiking? omg was the terrain really rough
wanna take mine hiking too
had to order a another pair of 2s when I heard the news. I prefer the arch support 👍🏼
Yeah they’re really good. Thanks for sharing man :)
Great review! Thanks
Thank you 😊🙏🖤
nice and simple review! do you think these are good for standing all day?
Thank you so much! Yes they’re good for standing :)

even the socks are swaggy what socks are those?
Hey Shawn, which store in SG did you get this from?
Hey! Running lab :)

hey man. For sizing for slide 2 would go half size down or up. For reference I wear US 8.5M. Thanks
Hey man! Sorry for the late response, I would go a half up. Always safer to go slightly bigger on slides :)
What do you think of their Ora Luxe model? Whilst I like the strap, the lower stack sucks:(
Those are interesting! But i would rather the either sandal waterproof, the straps looks like it'll absorb abit of water
Nice review 🎉👍
Thanks Daniel!!!
Damnnn brother, I thought I was the only one took them on a hike.
I despise the rim around the toes. Horrible feeling having my toes rub against the toe rim. I regret getting them. I wish I would’ve gotten last gen model.
Damn, a lot of mixed reviews 😅 It’s true the older gen is goated
Is it easy to bend the sole or is it very durable?
Hi for the Gen 3s, the soles are not very easy to bend, because of its thickness. There is still some amount of flex to it though. Hope it helps :)
Great review, I Will use them formy achilles ruptur recovery.
Thank you so much! Hope it helped 😊🙏🖤
Do they sell half sizes for these slides? And how are they holding up so far?
No half sizes in US sizing. They are holding up great!
Which ones do you prefer? Gen 2 or 3?
Where did you buy the first pair of shorts?
Hey man! It’s from a website called Anglan shop :)
Yes the v3 look nice
Right! Glad you liked them :)
Thank you for the review! I wonder which is higher heel on foot between the 2nd and 3rd gen.
No worries! Glad you liked it. Defintely the 3rd Gen!
Don’t know if youll ever respond but im a 10.5 should i get a 10 or 11.
I would recommend US11, but of course it would be best that you could go down to your nearest store to try for sizing to avoid any issues.
Hi just wondering for the overall now you have had them a while, which pair do you think is best for you personally, Im unsure which pair I should buy
I have used them both for awhile now and I enjoy both of them just as much. In terms of comfort/cushioning id say the ora 3s in terms of fitting id say ora 2s. Hope it helps :)

@@shawnsylabol where about did you order from. Im from the UK everywhere online is half sizes only unfortunately
ahh because of the UK to US conversion. Im basing it off US sizing. I got mine from a local running store in Singapore.
Is the bottom slippery when wet?
Been thinking of getting these. Just need to decide on a color now.
Definitely consider them, great pair of slides :) Yeah spoilt for colour options now 😂
Very nice!
Also, thank you for the fashion show.

🙏🙏🙏
Are these OK for flat feet

I don't like that back rim
Good review
Yeah it was annoying at first, I kind of gotten used to it over time😅 Thanks man!
Nice cushion slides.
truly! thanks for watching :)
Where do you live in? still romania?
I live in Singapore, was only in Romania for holiday 😅
Does the bottom pick up and deposit dirt? Is it sticky?

Imagine they made a shoe like this but not like the mules
