It's actually true, our 2021 Jeep Gladiator Ecodiesel worked even better than our diesel Volvos in extreme temps. Few weeks ago we took a trip to Lapland, Finland. On our final 200 km before destination it hit -37⁰C and some time later the car informed to "service electronic throttle control and disabled some features like ESC, cruise control) but drove normally. Before we arrived, we refuelled diesel with gelling point -38⁰C and after starting the car up ESC, CC were enabled again. In the morning we had trouble starting the car when it had sat in -35⁰C temps during the night, battery voltage was at 11.0 V and even the road side assistance couldn't get it to start so it was towed to warm garage. The next morning the car started up nicely, we grabbed battery booster, filled with anti-gelling additive, topped up with arctic diesel (-40⁰C) and next days it started up nicely. What surprised me was how the doors opened wo problems, electronics including displays worked almost as smooth as always, tailgate opened without any problems etc. Most likely our diesel was gelled and/or battery had too low voltage. Other than that, everything worked smoothly.
As much as I would love to try these features on my 2024 4xe, my Wrangler has been at the shop for almost 2 months now, waiting for STAR Stellantis engineers to contact my service department on the next steps. I've had my Jeep for 3 weeks. The service department has had it for almost 2 months. Stop dragging your heels!
Get rid of that insipid auto start/stop system. And put some real skid plates on those puppies. And how come only 3 cooling systems on the new 4XE Jeeps? Don't you think 6 cooling systems would be better with double the hoses--what could go wrong?
We do not want electric Jeeps. It doesn't matter how many videos you make touting their reliability. (they're not) We don't care about the massive touchscreen you put in the 2024 dash. We HATE the auto stop/start. Stellantis is alienating its most loyal customer base...

Don't let the corrupt Democrats destroy Dodge and Jeep I think the Jeep Wrangler should never change its suspension and its looks all the other brands out there have died off and there copycats and junk for high priced
