Ikanaide is a MAP that focuses on the sad emotion of Ivypool after she lost her daughter Bristlefrost. While everyone is happy to see their family after the battle, Ivypool instead doesn't have any chance to see Bristlefrost anymore. She sits in the Nursery and starts remembering the day she said goodbye to Bristlefrost, the day her daughter was born, and the moment... she sacrificed herself to save the clans.

Realizing that Bristlefrost didn't actually exist, even in StarClan, made me very sad. To be sad for Ivypool, as for her mother, for her relatives. I was very touched by how you as a whole team decided to push her into StarClan, even though I understand that this is impossible in canon. Thanks for this move anyway.This MAP is so adorable...
the worst thing to think about is that Ivypool's own daughter succumbed to the thing she tried her hardest to fight against, because she too was a victim of it: the Dark Forest. this was a breath of fresh air, and all the parts of this MAP were beautiful
It’s one thing when a cat dies in warriors, even a well loved one…. It’s another when the compeletly fade from existence, never to be seen by there loved ones again. Bristlefrost’s death was the one I cried about the most 😢
I have a head canon for warrior cats that “fade” from starclan and the dark forest got to a place beyond contact with the living world, and beyond time and space. This to me is the true “afterlife” of warriors. And I think they still watch over the living and give the prophecies to starclan to try and help guide those who still walk the earth from what they have seen will happen (since it is canon especially in the 3 that star clan has to figure those prophecies out just as much as the living cats and can get them wrong) so like no direct communication between the faded and starclan but still contact ya know. Mapleshade talks about those who fade from star clan becoming stars but disappear if they die/fade from the dark forest so my head canon in that is cats who’s spirits hold hate closer than love will never move on and once they are forgotten they simply disappear, this applies to rouges loners and kitty pets as well. We also know that star clan is separate from other after life’s (I’m including the tribe of endless hunting as star clan rn) because of a gosht kitty pet we meet in squirrel flights hope who just wanders around and mentions how it’s weird that they never see dead clan cats and few other not clan spirits I think that this big afterlife covers not only clan cats but every spirit in the wc universe. Anyway to cut the ramble shorter, bristlefrost is not gone gone simple to far out of reach to contact the living and tell them she’s there, but one day when they fade from the in between that is star clan she will walk with those she loves again
As an add to that kitty pet thing, you’d think that there’d be a whole heck of a lot more of them hanging around so I concluded that they fade quicker because once those who remember them in life die and can no longer tell others about them and are hence forgotten, but starclan lets cats who would normally have faded stay longer as elders tell there stories if they played a big part in the clans and they straight up visit med cats keeping there memory alive in the living
Wait, that's actually kind of a good idea, that the cats beyond contact give starclan their prophecies and stuff? If that's not what it actually happens, then the Erins need to make it happen.
It also gives me a bit of joy, cause Bristlefrost was one of my favorite characters, and its just so sad that she had to die like that. So its mind of nice to think about it that way, even if its not true

I really hope Ivypool doesn't suffer the same fate as her daughter in Ivypool's heart. I'm really worried that she's gonna be killed off.
I LOVE THIS MAP!!!! I like the way you let Bristlefrost into StarClan, I wish the Erin’s did that, but then I feel like the story wouldn’t have had such a climactic ending. I was devastated when Bristle died, her being one of my fav characters. But the map turned out great, and kudos to everyone who worked on it!
This honestly has to be one of my new favorite MAPs. It shows the way of Ivypool's emotions. Even though we all know Bristlefrost will never be in StarClan, it's nice to see her get there in this map

I feel so bad for ivypool, she fought so nobody else would have to suffer the dark forest like she did, just to lose her own daughter to it and she doesn’t even have a body to bury or a hope to reunite in the afterlife

THIS MAP TURNED OUT BEAUTIFUL!! i love how clear the storytelling is - even if the map wasn’t storyboarded the story was very easy to follow along!
