@Deven M. I thought so too, but nowadays, I don't know if they use fake wood in lower end models like the C-Class. I do know they use more plastic in comparison with the S-Class, though.
These, with just a couple of mods( exhaust, intake ECU and tcu tune) are absolute monsters. I have walked hellcats with mine. Also, if you put on some drag radials with aforementioned mods, run 10s on pump gas, at around 130. With AC. And massage seats. And movie playing. And can still drive back home like nothing Edit : the engine oil measurement. It's a common issue on these for the sensor to go out. Plus, it takes 11 quarts, it's fine. Maintenance is only pricey at the beginning. Next, you use up FCP EUROS great policy forever lol
@Deven M. well the ones in the last 25 years at least. Get a German car before 1990 and they're over built tanks. My w123 has 609k miles on the clock original transmission and engine never opened up. Been my daily since new.

My E550 used to give me an alert whenever I was on the highway that the oil level was too high after my oil change... I just lived with it and eventually it burned it off after a month or so of driving
If it's overfilled it's overfilled. Remove some of the oil. Too much oil can actually cause a lack of lubrication in a dry sump system because the crank weights hit the oil causing frothing. The oil pickup won't be able to suck in the right amount of oil for sufficient lubricating. Also, burning oil just messes up your emission system. Either it's overfilled or the sensor is going.
This is the ultimate Benz, too bad there will never be another one like it. All 4 cyl and electric garbage from now on, a real shame. Great video on an epic car.
That car is as comfortable as your expensive leather couch , it handles corners as if they were straights , it's as fast as an exotic car , makes the best sound possible , has one of the best if not the best safety standards an extras in the world and the only negative i could find about it is fuel consumption rate and maintenance cost . The vehicle is so stable you could actually drive with 200 km/h down the highway and cook coffee in it . It's suspension automatically and in real time devours any bumps without giving the slightest discomfort to the passengers , if i am not mistaken also in case of head on collision with a system attached on the front bumper the engine falls into the tarmac to avoid any jepardy of passengers safety , plus all four doors are extra durable . This is not just a luxury and beautiful car , don't be mistaken , this is business + family + journey + professional tool if needed . You drive one of those !? you will love it for life , i promise ...If you can afford it that is !!!!
Did the 2012 S65 receive the same updated engine as the SL65? The updated engine (M279) has slightly more power and is more reliable than the previous version.
