It depends about the audio source, if the audio stream is in 5.1 channels maybe you have a chance to remove the actors's voices on the mix, it doesn't happens always, guess with Rocky 2 i have the luck, i wanted to do the same with the film version of "Eye of the tiger" of Rocky 3, but the results aren't so good. Extract the audio clip in format .ogg with DVDaudio extractor, so you can edit it in 5.1 format, disable or delete just the channels with lots of voices, effects and keep the ones with just music on the background on adobe audition, convert it to 2 stereo channels and here you go!
You can do it with Audacity too, but i edit it with Adobe Audition. Also i think you can extract it in format Wav with 6 channels and see if the programs allow to edit it on this way. Have found this tutorial ruclips.net/video/e18Wrt3bQd8/видео.html and he's using the wav 6 channels format. Try on this way, hope it works

Depends what you watch it on - TV, VHS and DVD run a frame faster than cinema film and Blu ray per second, so would sound faster on those formats.
