William Russell has a little bit of that Sean Connery look and probably would have fit right into the role of 007
this feels like it may have established sone ongoing tropes in heist movies,..well amusingly entertainingly
William Russell was well-built and good-looking but his face didn't lend itself to leading-man roles. He just looked more 'vicious' and 'violent' than 'romantic. By the early '60s his acting-career had nose-dived.
