    I loved my test drive so much , I took the showroom model which is the same in your video but with everything you can get optionally. It’s a real beauty to drive and after owning many cars from high end to low end, this is without doubt the best.

    I quite like how this looks. Peugeot is definitely making beautiful cars again. I also fancy the thought behind the low-down boot floor, however controversial this might sound. Someone realised the opening is big enough to put even a washing machine or a medium-sized fridge in and close the door if that boot floor was lower. Granted, you'll have sweaty and sweary time to push such appliance over the seat hump, but it's a small price to pay for practicality.

    I think Stellantis could use Chrysler as a gateway for badge-swapped Peugeots in the North American market. This crossover would sell very well.

    • @MarekDrivesENG
      @MarekDrivesENG  Год назад +3

      I don't think they are ready for badge engineering just yet. PSA and FCA still use different platforms, so a Peugeot shares no parts with a Chrysler. The dealer/service network wouldn't know what to do with it. Perhaps once they become more integrated it would be easier. Assuming the US market actually needs French cars.

      @@MarekDrivesENG And why not, actually ? Why shouldn't Americans buy French cars ? They already buy French luxury items like Vuiton or Hermes. What's your problem with the French? You often bash them in the most gratuitous way. Peugeot has raised the level, it's no longer the car maker it was 2 decades ago. Time to accept it, instead of trash talking them like that.

      @@Oklm23 I also have noticed that his tone is clearly different with he reviews French cars. A mocking tone. Like : "Another French car? Hahahaha.. just useless"..... I find it surprising from a Pole. I don't get this condescending attitude. Poland has no car industry, never exported any car anywhere in the world, is not particularly known worldwide for anything luxury/quality, while the French are. Even here, in the comment section, Marek likes comments that bash this car. If it's not pettiness, I don't know what that is. By the way, he says that Americans just don't need to buy French cars. I am pretty sure that Peugeot will try to re entry the US market around 2025-2027, (they had presence in the 80's) and their vehicules will sell really well. Americans like new stuff. If quality is there, they buy. Peugeot now in 2023 makes quality cars that just look fantastic. I wish he could take time to explain us why he dislikes the French that much.

      I have a problem with both of these, because I think they deserve either a diesel or a larger displacement petrol engine without electrification, and if they have to be a plug-in, they could at least get AWD.
