I learned this song on guitar and when I saw this in my recomend I couldnt help but click. You have a beautiful voice. This gave me so much inspiration and joy. I've been going through so much in my life and I am quite young of a kid and the situations that I have been through are tough for even adults to comprehend if you put everything together. The lord is the reason for all good in the world and we should embrace and worship him for that. Once all of what I am going through is over, I am going to have a whole new outlook on the situation. I will am happy knowing that my uncle is in heaven and that I can forever know that he is smiling and proud of me and my family. And it is all because of the glory of God.

This song has been my favorite since the first time I heard it. I can really relate to the lyrics and I cry every time I hear it because it speaks of how much Christ loves us and how he uses our wounds to bring us to him. I suffer from PTSD, generalized anxiety, and major depressive disorder due to several traumatic experiences that I've been through. One of those experiences was an abusive marriage. My ex-husband abused me verbally, physically, emotionally, and mentally, but the verbal, emotional, and mental abuse was the worst. I have deep emotional and mental scars from some of the comments he made to me. He would tell me that I was a pathetic excuse of a wife, and the one that left the deepest emotional scars was when he said, "Leah, if you weren't so sensitive, maybe I wouldn't treat you the way I do." I've struggled for years with that comment, and I don't like crying in front of people because I'm scared someone will make a comment about my sensitivity. I became very depressed. I got into drugs, such as popping prescription pills, smoking marijuana every day, etc. I eventually got to the point of no longer wanting to live, and I remember that day like it was yesterday. We had just had a huge fight, and he said some of the most hurtful things to me that day. I was so miserable and I remember being in the fetal position on my bedroom floor crying my eyes out. I prayed for hours, begging God to just let me die and put me out of my misery. I remember going to the kitchen and grabbing a chef's knife and holding it to my wrist. I wanted to do it so badly, but I thought about my parents, my sister, and the rest of my family and what it would do to them, and I just couldn't bring myself to do it. I remember, all of a sudden, I felt this overwhelming love and peace come over me. I don't really know how to explain it, but the love and peace I felt were so strong that it was like Jesus was physically there with me, holding me and saying to me, "Everything is going to be okay." I can take away your pain if you let me. " I just broke down and prayed, thanking God and Jesus for filling my heart with their peace and comfort. Shortly after that incident, God helped me and gave me the courage and strength to leave him. Sadly, I took him back after being separated for two years. I had heard he was going to church and that he was getting right with God and getting his life together. I truly wanted to believe that he had changed, but after a few months went by, it was back to the abuse, except the physical abuse escalated and he hit me in the face for the first time. After a year, I left him for good. Jesus saved me from a really dark place, and I may have deep emotional scars, but Jesus has used my wounds to tell my family and the whole world how he saved me and that there is nothing that he wouldn't do just to find us. I was that one lost sheep and Jesus left the other 99 to come find me and bring me back to him. I will be forever grateful to God and Jesus. Even though I have let them down so many times, that never stopped them from coming to find me. So, I can really relate to this song. Well, everyone can relate to this song because everyone has scars. Melody Your version of this song is AMAZING! I can hear how much you love God and our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ when you sing. Thank you for using your gift to glorify God.
