Thank you for showing off little Juniper and for acknowledging body image triggers. I love that you say your body is different instead of focusing on extra weight always being a negative thing, while also promoting health and working out as well. Just all around a beautiful video to share with us today ❤ Thank you!
Thank you so much Emma! And thank you for being here and watching!
I can't believe how much she looks like Rowan!! So precious ❤️
I have been going back to my camera roll two years ago and then forward two weeks to compare them side by side. It’s like Harry Potter, “You have your mother’s eyes!” 😄
I have to say Megan, the new hair absolutely suites you SO well. It brings out your colored eyes. I just can’t get enough of it! So beautiful. ♥️♥️♥️
Oh thank you! You're so kind!
I am so so happy for you. Talking about how happy you are made me smile and I'm so glad that you've had it a little easier this time around!
Thank you so much!!
Aww little miss Juniper is darling! So happy its been such a positive experience for you!
Needed this! I’m 1 week postpartum with my first baby and hearing how you see your body and acknowledge what it did to bring Juniper into the world is super encouraging!
Juniper is suchhhhh a doll! 🥰 You look incredible by the way! Your doing a great job mumma 🥰
My son also had prolonged jaundice but in his case he ended up having Biliary Atresia and needed a liver transplant at 7 months old. I'm so happy Junipers was just prolonged breastmilk jaundice and her paediatrician took it seriously and made sure to do all the necessary tests to make sure she was 100% healthy!
How scary! Is he doing better now?
@@Matt_Acuna He's doing wonderful now! He still has quite a few hospital admissions and appointments but he doesn't let it stop him from loving life 😊
She’s so precious. Our kiddos are 1 week apart. Your 3 mo old is the size that my 3 mo old was when he was born!!! He’s 16lbs now 😅
She is so precious!
Thank you for sharing Megan! I’m so so happy for you that your postpartum healing is going so well! And that baby girl is also doing so good. So beautiful by the way! Praying that you and you family continues to do well! Glad you got that 12 week paternity leave🥰
Me toooo!
My son had jaundice and they struggled so hard to get the blood through the heels. It was heartbreaking. Turned out he had “thick blood” or Polycythemia. It wasn’t a huge concern and went away on its own but was nice to know why we had to prick him a bunch. Glad she is doing well and the jaundice has gone away.
It was scary getting her little baby arm the IV draw but the tech at urgent care was AMAZING and so gentle and quick.
So happy for you Megan miss Juniper is beautiful
Watching this with my 2 month old boy! Love your videos ❤️
Yay! Thank you!
Omg Juniper is soooo cute 😍 she has beautiful ocean blue eyes ❤️❤️❤️
My one and two year old are on their second time having covid, along with me. It's the worst when your babies are sick
It really is! I hope they feel better soon.
I feel you on the breastfeeding struggles. My LO decided she doesn’t like nursing from my right side 😅
These babies are testing us 😅
Hi Megan! Just had my 7th baby Oct. 4th and I also did not tear (for the first time) but I attribute it to it being my first water birth! So I think that is another great option and just wanted to share! Baby Juniper is such a doll and you look amazing! Thanks for sharing your journey with us!
Love this! Thanks for sharing!!
I also had a water birth for my second baby and didn't tear. So much nicer
Im 27 months Postpartum (2nd child) and my belly doesnt even come close to being that flat.
That's totally okay too!
@@MeganAcuna Thanks❤ Its just frustrating to not have my body back yet. With my first it was so easy to lose the weight.
You look great!
Hey Megan, I am 7 weeks postpartum and I’ve been itching to workout. Lots of blogs seem to say I can only walk at this stage. Could you do a video on your workout routine? Appropriate exercises for your abs. Etc.
Talk to your OB! Megan was cleared for exercise at our six week appointment. Do what feels comfortable for you. If it hurts, lighten the weight or shorten the duration. With Rowan, Megan couldn’t job for a while without it hurting a lot. With Juniper, she was able to comfortably run right away.
I didn’t realize Hispanic babies are more susceptible to jaundice! I’m going to take note. 25 weeks pregnant and I don’t want to be scared or surprised by that.
Does matt have anyone with blue eyes in his family?
Cutiepatootie! ❤
Yes, his grandma!
So happy to see you are feeling so good and happy! Do you know if age is a big factor in PP recovery? I'm 30 and hoping to have my first soon, but I would love to recover like you have from your pregnancies.
Every body is different! I think if you develop a healthy lifestyle before having a baby it can help to get back into that routine post partum. But who knows? They don’t even know what causes labor! 😅
She's the cutes ever too cute and adorable and everything like a doll
Cute video
Thanks for watching!
Juniper is just the cutest. Where is your sweater from? I'm in the market for a white sweater and I LOVE yours.
She is 3 month old now. How cute girl
You should tell us more about the perineal massages
Your baby is so beautiful ❤
What hair vitamins are you using? Hair looks great!
Lovely, you're so happy it's infectious!
I have a question: after having Rowan "a difficult" baby (for a loss of better wording..) do you feel like you've bonded easier to Juniper? I have a now 17m old who was VERY colicky and currently TTC for #2. Fingers crossed
Also: you look gorgeous after your babies. Thanks for being so open and honest!❤️🌞
Thank you so much! I was really lucky that even with having a lot of difficulties with Rowan as a newborn I still bonded with him really quickly so I'd say it's been similar in that regard but this time around my anxiety has been so much better!
@@MeganAcuna that's so good to hear. I too bonded with my little boy so much but I struggled with PPD big time and still notice it here and there. Good to hear the anxiety doesn't have to return with vengeance... 😅🥳✨❤️
@@MeganAcuna greetings from the northern isles of Scotland by the way. Your videos help many mums far away! ❤️🤗
Hey 👋 first time mum to be here - how long did you wait before introducing the bottle? I want to do the same and bottle feed every so often so my husband can help! Love your videos btw ❤
Beautiful lovely 💋💋💋💖💖💖💖💖🍼🍼🍼🍼🍼
Hi! 💛 I really loved that you touched on your body! I’m so happy you are giving yourself grace 😊
Random Question..I hope it doesn’t come off as weird. I was curious if you know any good underwear/bra companies? Trying to look for really well quality ones. Thank you!
Not weird at all! The ones I'm wearing in this video are Knickey and they're soooo comfortable! I'm super picky about my bras and underwear and can't deal with underwire or claps. True and Co is my go to for bras and I get the laser cut undies from Target!
Good to hear you say you’re doing contact naps! I have my 6 week old son - my first - sleeping on me quite a lot still. I really love it and it helps him sleep well. I hope I’m not ‘making a rod for my own back’ as my Mum says :/
What a terrible phrase. You can’t spoil a baby. These moments are precious. Snuggle the heck of out him!!!
Im 37w pregnant. And I've gained 22kg. Feeling so large and guilty because most women gain 15kg.
