Parquet Courts' embrace of the clown arts is one of their many admirable qualities.
Best song on the album
This honestly captures Coney Island perfectly, I love it there.
Thank you
By far my favorite song on the album
This, just shadows and trullo are my favorites from the album
Oh goodness this one is so fun. I loving the energy in all these videos. Rollerblade chic.
might be my favorite, and that’s saying something!
This is by far the most muppet-y parquet courts song
Loving all these new videos!
Best song on the record!
I spent the first half of the video like "is that Ike?" and the second half grinning like a madman.
*LYRICS [pulled from our good friend Genius]*
We got dancing
We got screaming
We got laughin’
And we got feelin’
We got smokin’
We got dreaming
We got relations
And we got feelin’
When you zoom out, tomorrow is now
When you zoom out, together is now
Earth’s shut down and space is so passé
When you zoom out, tomorrow is now
When you zoom out, together is now
Earth’s shut down and space is so passé
We got louder
We got sleeping
We got heaven
And we got feelin’
We got sunset
We got moonlight
We got ego
And we got feeling
When you zoom out, tomorrow is now
When you zoom out, together is now
Earth’s shut down and space is so passé
When you zoom out, tomorrow is now
When you zoom out, together is now
Earth’s shut down and space is so passé
Thanks

👏
They broke new ground for themselves on this album and yet again a pretty good effort and interesting direction with these songs

First
These guys are so damn good at music but at the same time just wreak of dandyism w the faux-blue collar down to earth bull shit
Been enjoying these guys work since teenaged cool kids when they were still living in texas, and love the better half of their discography and genuinely wish I could enjoy them in the same way as I used to
'We're from ny!!!!!!'- A Savage
They're just awful now. What initially (up to Human Performance - for me their high point) was a completely spontaneous expression of ironic, sardonic disaffection which nonetheless had its heartfelt moments has turned into what feels like a very contrived attempt to be 'uplifting' and 'leaders of the cause'. All the more bizarre because that's completely what they weren't.
@@jamescalder326 wide awake is so much better than human performance imo sorry
@@jamescalder326 the ideological aspect of their music has always existed, i suppose it's a trouble in translating a maturing ideological lense without coming across as preachy
@@jamescalder326 Amazing, artists evolve
@@t.c.bramblett617 Or even devolve, in some cases.
Is this a commercial? Are all the commenters Bots😂??
