For the first story, the guy isn't the asshole, he is a monster. He left his girlfriend at her toughest times, and when he stayed, it was for the money. On top of that, he cheated on the girls he was cheating on his girlfriend with by dating each on at the same time. He also LIED to his girlfriends mother. That guy doesn't deserve happiness.

For the second one: the husband had no problems telling his pregnant wife she was still responsible for doing all the chores and that her feelings don’t matter but the moment she defends herself he gets offended and tries to look like the victim? Those tears weren’t real they were just crocodile tears
