Snatch blocks are great! I keep 2 minimum on the truck I’m using. Good job getting it done.
Chain across from side to side of trailer. Attach snatch block to center of trailer/chain.

Your thinking smart here, I plan to have a pulley to prevent the cable/rope from rubbing on the back of the trailer.

Couldn't you have put that snach block on the passenger side of the trailer ? 🤷
It would have spooled up on the right side then. It will spool to either side if not pulling down the middle.
