- This is a how to and fix for the Honda Civic model 2018 but, can also work for the civic models 2016-2022. You will NOT need to go out and buy any replacement parts, as you will most likely have the replacement in the car. If you have any questions or need any further details let me know in the comments.
Appreciate your help! It took entirely too long to find this video. Yours is literally the only one with this solution.
Thank you 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻%100 works

Thank you for this video! Really hoping this fixes the issue (volume control on steering wheel not working) on my 2014 Civic.
Thanks!! You saved me brother!!
This actually worked so glad I found this video thank you sm💯
Having the same issue right now!!!!! I need to try this asap. Will update if it works.
The only think that is not working in my 2017 Honda Civic is the keyless entry 😢 but as soon as I press any button on the key (even the lock button) the keyless will work… it’s weird but this might be the solution
my right side keyless does not work it seems at all. Then my friend was futzing with it, and pressed the button that normally locks it, and then opened it! I was literally holding the fob in my hand and did NOTHING with it and it WAS absolutely locked! then she left and I tested it SEVERAL times and it worked PERFECTLY. I was so fucking baffled; I had messed with it for a good amount of time and it NEVER worked, doing the same thing my friend did even with the button. So after all this, I take one trip home and of course, it stops working again. Meanwhile the passenger side works perfectly 100% of the time LOLZ. must be a bad sensor on that side or something.
@WigganNuG same problem here. Passenger keyless entry works fine, but the driver side doesn't. Any fix?
Did anyone figure out the issue? Mine is doing this too
@@toriandrew9073 broski I figured it out! Or at least that worked for me. Usually cars have computer errors and this one might be one of them so what I did is just disconnected the battery for like 20 minutes and then I connected it back so the computer restarted and it started working. If that doesn’t work you might wanna connect another battery and then put yours back in it.
Thank You!
Is there like a calibration period? My keyless entry, and remote start isn’t working. The code went away when I tried this, but the functions have not returned.
Same lol
I switch but didn’t work the keyless start still down
!! Thank you !!
I’m just having my keyless entry that works at time..like randomly the door won’t unlock just putting my hand and i have to use the remote..50% chances , can’t understand why ?!
you ever end up fixing this? having the same problem, took my car to get a carwash and ever since it only works like 10% of the time
@@justin9177 nope still does it to this day
@@Italianborn i replaced the fuse like in this video and it started to work again
My keyless only works for my passenger side. Sometimes, when i press the unlock on my remote, it doesn't unlock the driver side.
@@maddog6192my trunk opening up everytime i start the car
I have a 2016 Honda Civic and it's remote start is not working . Also the lock lights doesn't flash when you lock the car but it does when I unlock the car. Please any idea on how to solve this.
I’m having the same problem, any tips?
I have the exact same issue
I was having issues unlocking my Honda Civic 2016 in that I had to manually unlock from the fob to unlock it instead of just unlocking when I place my hand on the door as usual. I noticed a "low battery" notification on the dashboard, so I changed the battery in my fob to a name brand Energizer battery. However, it is not working and I've definitely installed it correctly, making sure there is no film on the battery and all plastic tabs inside the fob look right. The car isn't even starting and the brake can't be pushed down. The only sign of life in the car (besides headlights and overhead lights working) is that the dashboard says to hold the key near the start button, which I've done. Any ideas?
Wondering if you found a fix for this? I also have a 2016 that just started doing the same thing.
Did you figure out the issue? I'm having the same problem
Bro sounds like neve from catfish.
