I love how all the bosses were nods to mythology and horror. For example… Paranoia: the Flatwoods monster. Medusa: The Gorgon herself. Mantichora: the Manticore. Love Face: Howard Philips Lovecraft himself. Chthuga: Do I really need to spell it out for you?
Hey! You got em all this time in the Neo Tomos fight. If that's not worth a shinny reupload I don't know what is. Man... Been watching this channel for 14 years and going. I even remember my comment on this one... What a ride it's been
Funny how the HD quality makes the low fps of this game more apparent and jarring- And man maybe I haven't followed since the very start of the channel but sure has been +10 years... time sure flies, hope you are doing well Ace and that everything will be fine.
Its funny, I never do remember this game moving so jarringly, but even the main character moves in 8x8 blocks. You don't notice so much when playing but watching it back. I remember the 3d effect was fairly convincing by Megadrive standards back in the day on a chunky CRT TV - on a modern display with it all raw - not so much.
Probably helped back then that the floor *does* animate at the full 60fps/50fps thanks to some palette swapping cleverness, but when I checked, everything else moves at a whopping 10fps.

Wow, the original was one of the first videos I watched on RUclips. Time really flies.

I love the boss music, nice of the Amiga version to arrange it
This kind of boss rush video is what originally led me to this channel way back when, thanks for the nostalgia!

The flatswoods monster
Nice, love music too.
Wow, I've never heard of this game before.
This game's plot feels so much like bad Japanese B-Movie. Like something that would hit MST3K.
I wish Sega make a space harrier reboot.
Dababy: less goo 😁
Agree ace spark.
