About the Show

The way everyone treated Brandi at that games night in season 2 was so painful to watch. I really felt sorry for her in that episode, they all bullied and ganged up on her.
I never forgot. I’m surprised how many people choose to forget how poorly Kyle treated Brandi before getting a chance to know her. Brandi might be a mess, but she was never a passive aggressive bully. She kept it real from the beginning and showed kindness to anyone who showed kindness to her. I always respected her for that. Flash forward to Kyle throwing her “friend” Sutton under the bus because she’s too scared to confront Erika herself. I wasn’t surprised and reminded of how weak willed and mean Kyle can really be.

Yeah she was struggling in her last seasons as a full time cast member. Domestic abuse, her husband’s suicide which then lead her to financial issues carried onto her, drinking too much alcohol and meltdowns. She’s in a much better place now, thank God for that :)

Those are the people that have black live matter posters in their windows and believe that Black people are in their place because of them doing things on their own and don’t believe in reparations and don’t believe that it’s that bad and Black people are just not a smart end inferior in every way and find them entertaining and just don’t think that they’re qualified to do other things then they’ll just never really amount to anything and a few of them are uniquely gifted but that’s the minority. and that her and all the other Richwhite people have earned everything that they’ve got and because they worked really hard and it’s not by any means because it was inherited or given to them or they were giving opportunities over other people because of whatever reason and whatever privileges that they got.Not only are they racist their classes so they believe that people that are extremely poor deserve it and it’s because of their own doing and that anybody could get to where they are right now and that the 1% aren’t they are better

I’m African American and what Brandi said wasn’t racist at all lol. Joyce was being dramatic in my opinion. I mean it’s true, a lot of black women dont swim cause we don’t want to get out hair wet. Not ALL of us surely, but enough of us lol. I could understand more if Joyce said that she was deeply offended by the comment. But the comment wasn’t racist. In order to be racist, there would have to be racial slurs or hateful, disparaging comments made. None of that occurred Brandi made a tasteless joke not a racist comment.
