- The DA is warning of instability in the City of Tshwane after mayor Cilliers Brink's removal. He was ousted in a motion of no confidence today. DA Gauteng leader Solly Msimanga says there's been a deliberate move by the Gauteng ANC to undermine the government of provincial unity.

DA initiated nothing in Tshwane since they took power. Solly is on all channels talking about:
1) improvement of financial reporting as per the Auditor-General's report. The truth is the City of Tshwane municipality was receiving unqualified audit opinions when they took over the municipality. They collapsed from that level to Disclamers. It is like dropping from 80% to 30%. Now they want to convince us that they are doing well by improving from 30% to 30,5%.
2) The 1200 rental units built in Marabastad are a brainchild of the ANC under the stewardship of Sputla Ramokgopa. The found the project in progress. We thank them for the finishing work.
3) They took over the City that was collecting revenue at a rate above 90%. They collapsed that. Any improvement is on the low level they sunk the City to.
4) They forced the people of Hammanskraal to drink sewage contaminated water until the intervention of the Human Rights Commission through laboratory tests.
The townships were denied services. We are happy the DA is gone.
