Fruitberries gets penalized in Twitch Rivals for trapping players

- Fruit got penalized during TR Hunt and Run when he blocked some people in during the practice stage of the game as a harmless joke, but accidentally did cost those players some time in the game. His punishment was to be instantly sent into death match with the bottom 20 players, where he ultimately won and stayed alive in the event.

Lers be honest here, putting fruit in the death match would legit not change anything just make 1 player lose a spot 💀💀
Frankly, this feels 100% on the admins to me. Fruit was playing around in a practice round, he had no way of knowing it was going to be a real issue, and then the admins decided that the best solution was to UNLEASH him on the worst players? ofc he was going to destroy them lol
If you are just a little smart you would not do this. This event is worth 100.000 dollars, He should have been banned from the event
To his knowledge it was just a silly joke that wouldn't lead to anything. That doesn't seem worthy of a ban to me
@@AbulojordanoIt was literally during a PRACTICE round with 30 seconds remaining, Fruit was just trolling around and there’s no reason he would think that they would still be trapped when the actual round starts. Plus, this is just bad game designing by the devs that this actually happened.

The way I see it: Fruit was just messing around when he boxed them in and it's pretty clear he didn't realize it would affect them, especially since it was the practice round. It was really dumb by the admins to put him in the deathmatch when there was a high chance he would win. Also, why did they not respond to his ticket? Like they didn't say anything? The way the admins handled this was really poor imo.
In my opinion he should have been banned. even though he didn't know the consequences The boxed those people, even so he prevented them from playing and literally prevented one of them from playing the next phase because after this level he was still boxed
@@BrunoToilettehe did it in the PRACTICE round with 30s remaining, and he couldnt have known the admins would keep them blocked in for the real round (which was 1/10 minutes aswell). That is not ban worthy imo.

Small rant.
Late comment but there's so many people blaming fruitberries and idk how its his fault. Fruit was trolling in a practice round probably expecting nothing serious would happen. I'm sure the admins could've easily just teleported the stuck people out in mere seconds. The admins also allowed for building to happen in the first place and didn't even spawn everyone at any space in case any accidents happened like the video. Then they don't answer his ticket asking what he did wrong and ON TOP OF THAT they decide the best "punishment" is to pit him against the bottom 20 players... And to be dead honest none of those people were gonna win the $100,000 prize with people like Sapnap, HBomb, and Fruitberries playing 💀

just my opinion, but I don't think fruit knew that you couldn't break the cobblestone with their hands. otherwise I don't think he would have been confused as to why he was penalized.
Or maybe he knew. And he was just confused since he only boxed people at the last 10 seconds of the practice round so (as far as he knew) it would’ve had barely any effect on their warm-up and no effect on the real event
MC events are always ultra-scuffed in one way or another, making it kinda unfortunate to do one with a $100,000 prize...

Why can you even have blocks to begin with? Thats the admins fault ... cuz truly if anyone had blocks they wouldve def tried to box someone
The first one was hilarious. "Bro bro bro what are you doing, f*cking ahhhole"
Can I asked if the deathmatch is giving a chance for any player to continue to play. Because if that is, admin are clearly in the wrong.
Not for arguable instance, the actual action of boxing like you guys said, but for not communicating and now that he won destroyed another player's chance.
If you gonna penalized someone, communicate first. Now you escalate the situation and luckily nothing happened, but if I'm an organizer I would not do that unless I understand the situation because the people who got penalized is really those in deathmatch. (honestly I would still do the same because realistically if we accept the mistake regardless we'll have many things to lose)
And also, for instance, this is an oversight. Personally I would say that allow player to place block or reset the map is easier to prevent than managing all these mods, servers, and people.
I argue that it is not a normal oversight where it is hard to predict but oversight is oversight at the end of the day. It could happen and all we do is to learn from them.
I think you get to survive if you win deathmatch, which is why Fruitberries was determined to win.
For some reason they chose to put him in that instead of just giving a warning, or just slowing him down for a minute, or just resetting the entire round.

Not everyone though I have seen more reasonable ones who criticize twitch more than fruit.
Like in this situation fruit did something bad and he should’ve gotten punished somehow like a point reduction or something. Ignoring the situation or banning fruit are two bad choices because it makes either community mad eventually. Instead twitch makes a third worse decision that hurts 20 other people’s chances and announces it for everyone to see, sparking the controversy and making it the spotlight and bigger than it is.
It’s this poor decision making and responses from twitch rivals admins that makes the situation worse as seen in past rivals and especially in the latest house of nightmares twitch rivals.

Fruit prolly shoulda been penalized. But people preaching for a full ban is crazy 😭
Is it crazy?
The players he caught were bugged and started the test late with points 2 minutes later than the rest, and for this reason they were eliminated.
But it is already known that these people are friends of those on Twitch, every Hispanic event happens, Twitch forces them to invite these people and then these people only harm the experience of the rest.
But they are going to run out of events for Hispanic people, it has already happened in other events, they use the faces of top Hispanic people to promote these events and then they make them look bad for always going in favor of the English.
The same thing happened with the last rust event.
@@DiegoMG48 The lying goes crazy though, only one person got in the deathmatch, and have you ever considered that if this wasn't such a fucked up event and Trial #4 hadn't been cancelled, the person wouldn't have gone to the DM in the first place? I tell you the difference between how a Hispanic is treated and an English person is treated, in the previous Twitch Rivals, a person from Spain was banned, not only from the series but he was banned for 1 entire month from Twitch because according to them he said something racist , and it was not like that, since you cannot translate a word from one language to another and think that they will have the same meaning.

This was an event with $100k on the line. That amount of money can change someone's life, especially the smaller streamers. That's why this little prank was considered a big deal
Come on be real anyone who can get trapped this easily wouldn't have been able to get anywhere near that money. If your main point is that these small streamers had a chance to get that money, it isn't a very strong argument. Even if someone who was more competent at the game was trapped it still wouldn't have mattered in terms of winning money since the same few skilled people would've made it to the end regardless of where ever they spawned. Make a different argument if the reason you came here is to criticize fruit or english streamers and not Twitch Rivals who make every Minecraft event they host scuffed(yes pretty much every time an event is hosted by them there is a problem that makes the experience worse for everyone involved every single time). Twitch Rivals makes it SEEM serious because of the cash prize they offer but they are so incompetent they fail every single time to make it a professional and well-organized experience it's laughable.
