I been told my mammy to seek therapy and heal but she can't...she doesnt want to ...but forced me into therapy when i was a kid and i stayed in it for years and it helped me ....i even went to therapy in prison...my mama used me to get to the top ...she stole from me .. stole my bank robbery money stole my ssi money ... called police on me called my parole officer on me all cause she dont know how to be accountable for her shit and she loves to play victim after she started some shit.....shes been inna middle of my relationships and all...she had the audacity to tell me i needed parenting therapy when i raised myself and her .... I lost all contact with her ...she doesn't know where I live or nothing

yes, I noted that as well. I feel for him. He feels loyalty to his momma bc he knows what she went through to protect and provide for him...she did the best she knew how...despite that he grew up in a violent and dangerous environment, and Momma Dee does have real psychological issues. Scrappy himself I think feels a lot of guilt and sadness, and never had a father figure in his life. Its a shame, he genuinely would benefit from therapy. It would free him. I can see his pain.

Yeah u could feel Scrappy's hurt. And Mama Dee not at the very least didn't acknowledge his hurt. That only adds to his feelings. Parents rarely EVERRRR comprehends how they live affects their children. We don't come with a manual, howeverrrr, we depend on them to teach, mold, protect, & luv us despite what's going on.
Sometimes we can be to hard on our parents. Parents are human with their own hurts and disappointments. Most of them do the best they can. They make mistakes just like you. However they must own the part they played in hurting you rather it was intentional or not. They shouldn't make excuses just accept the part they played and do better.

Yeah I agree. I feel as though momma Dee might have had him doing things as a kid that brought so ,uch trauma, took aaau from him having an actual childhood, and destroyed him in so many ways. However, deep down she knows the truth but her pride will mot allow her ro admit she was wrong and is still wrong so therefore, she puts the blame on everyone but herself. She's not a queen she only wish she was. True righteous queens don't allow their kids to feel the pain she allowed Scrappy to witness, experience and endure, all on a daily basis- as a child and as a teenager which destroyed him as am adult. It's because of his personal relationship with zgid the reason he isn't worse than what most people who grew up like him, become. However, it is now his responsibility to take on this horrible long and exhausting battle, and be able to find the right amount of strength to deliver, redeem and heal himself

Friendship should not be that hard, not everyone is your momma. Good friends tell the truth because tbey want their girl to be better. And a good friend receives advice from someone she knows she trusts.
Momma Dee is a total narcisstic mother. She can’t understand Scrappy’s feelings, to her only her feelings matter. She looks at him as an extension of her, so in her mind it’s her business to tell. No way a mother can look at her adult son reacting like this from the trauma she caused & not comfort him. Moms like this only apologize when they can play victim at the same time. Guilt isn’t remorse & neither is shame. She’s lucky he talks to her at all. When a parent has abandoned their child it makes them feel like they don’t have anyone & it’s a hole in their heart that the person struggles to fill up all of their lives.
