But many people can understand what i mean and they just go crazy to depend SM and not accept all the critize for the better thing itself lmao. But it also right that SM best era is around early 2000-2015. SM still have their crown but they also lost many thing in general, even if they also gain something.

@@user-fo1ni8wz7f I don't think they do. TraxX switched from rock band to electronic dance music in 2018 - and last year the last 2 members (Jay and Jungmo) left SM. Maybe Million Market has a band but they really aren't in SM - although MM is a subsidiary of SM

Who's here again after watching SMTOWN Special Stage on KBS... Throwback when SM still put their best effort on planning their artist special stage....

Me. Was expecting something like this to happen again but fine. . . I miss this era. No Victoria and Tao but was hoping Winwin could show his talent like what the two did. Johnny plays piano well and SM great dancers are still active like Yunho, hyo, kai, eunhyuk, they just need to add ten and jisung and sehun (and taeyong too cuz yup)...trax is still active, also their great vocals like Chen, Luna, Taeyeon, Wendy, Yesung and wookie, Changmin...they could add Taeil and Haechan(tho not poss8ble cuz of injury but still). Gave up and not expecting Chinese idols like Zoumi, lay and Vic cuz yeah the restrictions but was hoping for a great SMTOWN collab like this on stage on Gayo or somewhere else.

Changmin, Taeyeon, Jonghyun, Chen did amazing job I think! Changmin and Taeyeon, this was legend! I fell in love with Jonghyun's part. And Chen was perfect, his high note was great for a rookie. Tao was amazing! He made his famous flip-flop :D Taemin-Kai-Eunhyuk are great dancers and they have showed this to us. Yunho is dancer of TVXQ, right? How his voice can be so good like this? I liked Henry, he was super cool. Seohyun was super cool too! SNSD covered Shinhwa, amazing! I think everyone was so cool! Yes, its true; SM cares beauty and handsome. But, come on guys. All of us know, all SM artists are so talented. BoA, Taeyeon, Jessica, Tiffany, Seohyun, Luna, Wendy, Seulgi, Changmin, Jonghyun, Onew, Ryeowook, Kyuhyun, Yesung, Chen, Baekhyun, Kyungsoo stand out with their vocal abilities. Hyoyeon, Yunho, Eunhyuk, Taemin, Kai, Lay are one of the best dancers of K-Pop. This is main reason of SM idols' success.

You see everyone going hardcore on their instruments and then the camera focuses on Kyu just sitting playing his little harmonica LOL
What people forget to notice though is it takes a lot to do that, his breathing must be strong for him to perform that part fast. I love it though! XD it makes the whole ceremony lighten up~

SMTOWN basically has everything. The talent of playing musical instruments(Henry, Ryeowook, Kyuhyun, Siwon, Tiffany, Seohyun, etc), classical orchestra, dubstep/edm songs, rock(Taeyeon, Changmin), traditional dance/ballet(Victoria), martial art(Tao), modern dance(poppin', locking, hip hop, etc), high fucking pitched amazing vocalists, freaking smooth and powerful dancers, and amazing visuals. This is why I'm an SMstan rather than YG and JYP. Every entertainment has its pros and cons.. but SMTOWN seems to have the most pros to me.

This is one of the reason why SM will remain as the richest entertainment, not just because of their sales but they are so rich with their artist. Wherever you put SM Artists they always give justice to their performances their talents screams so loud. 2021 and I'm still a SM Stan.

Maybe because they had sched or they are busy some are in military that's why i think. Some can't go and some already left sm for an instance Henry who play almost every instrument theres tiffany and Seohyun.

They haven't offically debuted yet but 4 members were already officially introduce as EXO members hence why only those 4 were included here. Technically the day they were introduce were that members solo debut.
Standing ovation for this. SM artists are individually talented but they are not always given a chance to highlight that because SM is such a dictator. I have this love and hate feeling towards SM; I hate them because of how they treat their artists but I love them because they really know how to train their artists and provide incredible stages. Didn't know Kyuhyun plays the harmonica haha. They are all great. There was too much to see here; every second was worth it. And of course my TVXQ babies ♥ they are as flawless as usual. Changmin's voice is just wow and Yunho's voice is sweet as ever.

I think the kbs special stage didn't do magic because the groups did their own thing. A family is meant to do it together. The new SM groups seem awkward with each other. The 2nd gen SM family supported each other soo damn well. They didn't care what the crazy fans would say. Boa, TVXQ, Super Junior, SNSD, Shinee, F(x) were a complete family. I think in EXO only Suho tries to have than friendship towards Red Velvet. All of Red Velvet seem awkward especially around EXO. How I wish EXO, Red Velvet, NCT and Aespa had the same family vibes.
it’s great seeing the 2nd gen sm idols supporting their juniors (ex. taeyeon adoring aespa), but it would be even greater if the juniors weren’t kept from interacting. i mean the only time that red velvet really acknowledged “aespa” was when they were rookies (and ning was the only one there).
im pretty certain exo is more close to sm's second gen, especially since they grew inactive as sm's new artists started debuting (end of 2016ish). i do wish to see the new generation have this type of performance at the same level. if only sm didn't restrict their interactions :/
Probably it's because SM's sunbae artists trained together during their time when they were still trainees. Attended dance classes, singing classes, acting classes like they always see each other 7x a week.
@@shawnnicolo7445 Among the 2nd Gen only Suju and TVXQ really trained together though. Like same classes and everything as SM isn't as big yet back then and no one knows which group they'll be put on. The others are just trainees at the same time or had years of training coincide w/ each other but the same can be said for the 3rd and 4th gen too. Like for example there are members of Shinee, f(x), Exo and Red Velvet that trained together as well. Some members of NCT trained with EXO members too etc. So if them training together were 2nd gen reason for being so close then the same should apply to the 3rd & 4th gen as well as they also trained together.

The only big flaw that SM have is the way they treat their idols but without it,it's a known fact that SM ent is the number 1 agency in Korea. They know what they are doing,they know how to promote their idols into world stars and eventually become a legend. BOA,TVXQ,SUJU,SNSD,SHINEE,Fx,EXO etc. If LSM was still the CEO, the dramas would be so much less. Yes, some idols quit while he was still a CEO but it was only because of the long contract and their respect for LSM is still there considering the fact that he was the one who grew them to become successful idols. Their respect towards LSM is undeniable, they rarely forget to thank him when they receive awards unlike the new CEO.

Being a performer requires more than talent. You need to develop work ethic, people skills, and have a good management company and SM artists have that. For the few people that leave and launch lawsuits against SM, dozens of people are signing up for SM, renewing their contracts, and have nothing bad to say about SM. LSM was the best.

Yeah, people act like SM are making their artists do something they don't want to do when the moment they signed the contract, they had already agreed to do what SM says. It's just that people has this stereotypes for SM saying that the artist cant do anything but honestly, I just see it as "disciplining" .

Unless they didn't read the contract then the contract as being "unfair" is not an excuse. And lets say that they were teens back then and they didn't know what they were signing but didn't the parents go with them?? specially if their under aged?? I think it just depends on the will of that person. Many signed the same contract but their still going strong.
I don't stan any SM groups but I'd have to say this is one of the best stages in all of Kpop's history (& I've been a fan for 8 years, so yes I've seen lots of performances). I wish KPOP could go back to the days when talent and performance were more important that popularity

THIS IS INSANE! , SM really make me Speechless! How they can have a multitalented artist/idol like that?!. I know some of them its already out, but i'm still shock even i watch this video every single time.
They have amazing vocal and dance, They have idols that can do martial arts, and their idols can also play such Musical Instruments as professionals, don't forget they have incredibly charming visual idol too. This is what a real entertainment agency would call. Believe me no one can defeat this agency untill this day. They're at a very different level than other agencies. There's nothing wrong with me being SM stan. it's really make my standart so high HAHAHA.
The true power of SM is the powerful talent of all its artists and the quality they represent in everything they do. Views and awards do not define this great quality

You can see how big TVXQ/DBSK was from this video. Like everybody was waiting for their part. Especially in the last part they sang tvxq's song "Fighting Spirit from the East" which made for Korean football team at that time

Honestly, if we just ignore all the drama sm has right now, you'll realize that sm is no1 for a reason. You'll realize that they're more than just looks, they're more than those stereotypes haters are giving them. They're a company that is filled with very talented artists. They've created legends. I hope sm can do more of these in the future. Prove themselves and their ability. These days, there's less of these kinds of performances and that's a bit dissapointing.

True. They have so much talent. Honestly SM artists are one of the most talented idols in Kpop industry but the Korean public don't see it because SM never showed them it. They need to actually give stages like this again and sing live, dance, play instruments etc. for people to see how great they truly are.
I remember back in DB5K early days when entire Korean public have a huge prejudice against them because they are from SM who are known to give visual groups rather than talented groups but because SM let them showcase their vocals and talents so the Korean public start acknowledging their talents. In fact 16 years later, when you go ask random Koreans in the streets who aren't even Kpop fans who they consider as great dancer or great vocals, a lot would still say Yunho and Junsu's name.
I'm kinda sad as EXO stan that even until now 7 years into their debut the Korean public still doubt their talents and still considered them as 'SM manufactured idols' when they have Chen and Baekhyun who are 2 of the best vocals in Kpop 3rd generation. SM need to prove and show the public just how talented they truly are once again and maybe they'll all rise once more.

✋ how i desperately wanted to see this kind of performance. That collab was definitely not a collab tho, it was just performing or being a back up dancer. It was just you will realize how much Sm differs from Smtown. They did their best and I'm proud of them, Sm could have given us a better performance, better collaboration with better interaction from the artists.

Many complain about kbs gayo being sm show but actually it wasn't.. Yesterday sm part was very bad.. 😑 I expect they will show idols hidden talent like this one.. But it end up making nct and red velvet backup dancers 🤦🏼
