Little Feat is the kind of band that not only makes your ears grin, they make you grin in places you never you realize could grin!! Awesome music and artistry!
RIP LG n RH....but the beat of the Feat keeps on keepin' on two souls reside in the music, the inspiration for all the music to come, forever Little Feat, dead or alive.
What about Creedance? What about the Grateful Dead? What about Traffic? What about etc. etc. etc.? There were so many greatest live bands ever. What about The Band? What about Led Zepplin? What about King Crimson?
What a band, they are, and a fine performance. I miss Lowell, of course. They play fantastic with or without him, but I don't like the female vocals. Just doesn't work for me. She doesn't add anything to it, and the high yells, just don't seem to go. But I could listen to them forever and would've loved to be up there dancing!
@MrJOsthabassman Whadya mean, tribute band? You are so rude. This band has been keeping Lowell George's fabulous music alive for YEARS, as well as writing a shed load of great tunes since they reformed about 8 years after he died. Little Feat IS Little Feat whether Lowell shows up for the gig or not ... and they are a great band, always will be.
Hey El Destinova, you've seen Lowell Barrere and Payne live? I'l tak ethat over Duane and Gregg at al..wayyyy less cliched...much more exploratory than Allmans in the 70's.I 'll take Richie Hayward over any drummer but Steve Gadd...but then he wasn't an Allman ...but it's all good. Feats!!!!!
Lowell's soul is still in the music. I was lucky enough to see Little feat w/Lowell 5 times And saw Lowell's solo tour in Browns Mills NJ. I also saw Chicken Legs after Lowell Passed. As long as they're still dancin' to it who cares what beat they're on.
I saw Little feet multiple times in the DC area (mostly @ Lisner Auditorium) throughout the early 70's and they remain one of the most talented group of musicians I ever saw. Seemed like every concert had super big names "drop in" like Jackson Brown, Linda Ronstadt and Bonnie Raitt. Little Feet, Santana, and Pink Floyd are my musical benchmarks to this day. Never the same without Lowel though. Amazing how often you find the bandmembers on other peoples albums.
yeah they have moved on to a different sound from the 70's but shit is amazing still still some of the best jamming you can hear, Lowell will be missed but they still offer what they did then and its a damn good time nothing beats live music nothing!
There were SO MANY good live bands back then and those surely were 2 of the best. Live was the only way to play. Technology hadn't exploded yet and changed the live band experience yet. These WERE the good old days....
Without Lowell George, this band is an absurd, amusement park version of what used to be Little Feat. I guess they're perfect for the phony hippie/ Autistic City Limits morons in the audience. The chick singer sucks...."Whitey Sings the Blues"...The edge isn't there...
Little Feat is the kind of band that not only makes your ears grin, they make you grin in places you never you realize could grin!! Awesome music and artistry!
Lowell George was the genius behind the band, he wrote and arranged all of their music.......Damn I miss him, Little Feat was the REAL DEAL back then
RIP LG n RH....but the beat of the Feat keeps on keepin' on two souls reside in the music, the inspiration for all the music to come, forever Little Feat, dead or alive.

Yeah, it's a little less George and a lot more Feat.

neither are you.
Cool music with crazy people jumping, dancing and singing in front of the stage. Í´m stunned.
That spirit is movin those people regardless of which side of the beat they lock in to. Glory be! Don't be a cynic laaxe.
Oh, we so need more. Way more. Keep it rollin'. Blessings.
Lowell George is the man....REST IN PEACE my brotha!!!!

Without Lowell George, this band is an absurd, amusement park version of what used to be Little Feat. I guess they're perfect for the phony hippie/ Autistic City Limits morons in the audience. The chick singer sucks...."Whitey Sings the Blues"...The edge isn't there...
