The Police on scene were not trained to a level of expertise to respond to this event. The video of that day which covers the entire complex has been suppressed to show the inadequate reaction of the Officers and WRONG response to the take over of the complex. The critical reviews by Police Officers across the nation are leaning against the Capital Officers. Lacking in training and, we believe, less than honest testimony about their own actions. Officers critique one another, it is in our nature to see what "we" would do under a similar circumstance. The Capital Officers became concerned of 1st person recordings viewed alongside their testimony and official statements that the Congress sealed the recordings and investigations. Nothing remains secret, especially in D.C.

I think that is part of the point. It seems like the people and the motives in the mob were very heterogenous . It seems like some were violent while others didn't want to see harm come to the officers. It sounds like some people in the mob stepped in to protect the officer and help get him back to the line after others beat him and knocked him unconscious. This would also explain a lot of the left vs right spin. Some sections were probably more peaceful at times (these are the videos that Fox and Tucker Carlson are showing when they say people are lying about the insurrection/protest) at times while others were violent (the videos here). The New York Times did a 40 minute visual reporting piece a week or two ago that does a pretty good job of showing this.

His testimony reminds me of so many assaults I've heard described by women who have been raped - appealing to their attackers humanity by saying they have children is often one of the only things that will get through and maybe cause them to spare their life. Horrifying. Every person who stepped onto the capitol grounds that day should be ashamed of themselves, no matter if they were just there to pray or protest. Their presence emboldened the violent insurrections. The video of that day which covers the entire complex has been suppressed to show the inadequate reaction of the Officers and WRONG response to the take over of the complex. The critical reviews by Police Officers across the nation are leaning against the Capital Officers. Lacking in training and, we believe, less than honest testimony about their own actions. Officers critique one another, it is in our nature to see what "we" would do under a similar circumstance. The Capital Officers became concerned of 1st person recordings viewed alongside their testimony and official statements that the Congress sealed the recordings and investigations. Nothing remains secret, especially in D.C.

I think that is part of the point. It seems like the people and the motives in the mob were very heterogenous . It seems like some were violent while others didn't want to see harm come to the officers. It sounds like some people in the mob stepped in to protect the officer and help get him back to the line after others beat him and knocked him unconscious. This would also explain a lot of the left vs right spin. Some sections were probably more peaceful at times (these are the videos that Fox and Tucker Carlson are showing when they say people are lying about the insurrection/protest) at times while others were violent (the videos here). The New York Times did a 40 minute visual reporting piece a week or two ago that does a pretty good job of showing this.
