I really like how few cuts are in this video. Often it seems videos, especially informative or instructional videos like this one, use clips that are 5 seconds or less and it can feel disorienting. This video feels much more focused and... 'personal', like an actual 1-1 music lesson due to the longer clips and the very professional structure! I really like how the exercises and instructional parts were definitively partitioned out and clearly labeled in the video. Excellent work, as always! -T
wow thanks, especially because since english isn't my main language it is hard for me to talk continously without making big mistakes. Thanks for this feedback. I think this approach of stretching might be useful for violin too, maybe. :)
Thanks for the video since I have started following you I feel like I should start playing guitar again and I will begin with these awesome exercises!!! Thanks again!!
Very well done and very informative - you have a good teaching style and a very pleasant demeanour! I especially liked your candid comment ... “what? Just read it, it’s here” as you pointed to the finger patterns printed on the screen - haha, well done! 😂👍
Haha thanks, I think it's obvious that this is my first video where I talk haha. I wanted to be not too theatratic since I believe It's possible to teach and see results in a more casual style too.
Thank you for these exercises. I have osteoarthritis in my left thumb which impairs my stretch. I am trying to find a different way to position my thumb at the neck which is still strong but not so painful. I can’t imagine you having that problem, for you are still very young, but perhaps you have a teacher with the same problem.
Sorry to hear this, especially because that's something I can't help with 🥺 Although I am pretty sure that you can train that finger somehow, so keep up practicing and exploring different options until you find yourself a comfortable position. Also keep in mind that music doesn't have to be technically demanding to be beautiful, there are so much less difficult and beautiful pieces exist, you also can choose from those sometimes ☺️ good luck for you to find your way to play forever! 🥰
hey! of course, I just set up a goal recently that when I reach 25 patrons on my patreon I start to make educational content. Check it out! :) www.patreon.com/beatrixguitar

Hey. This video is so full of knowledge! I have been trying to look for a RUclips video that educates the stuff in this RUclips vid. 🥼 👍Your explanation reminds me of the vids of Dr Ethan. His tips are really helpful and I actually learned a lot for my finals! He is the most informative medical student on RUclips and he talks about medical school and diseases! I recommend you check out his channel out and give the Dr a like! 👉 #DrEthanNews

Hi Beatrix, this exercises quite challanges for me as my finger is not long but I hope will make my finger and hand stronger. Thanks
This was awesome, as someone who learned guitar by playing metal. These stretching exercises are completely new to me. It is really helpful. Thankyou!

Who doesn’t love kurzgesagt ducks as a backdrop! What’s your fav vid and most existential crisis vid from them!?
Couldn’t name one but I enjoy the social aspect related videos from them mostly, the heavily scientific can be a bit overwhelming for me 😅
Thanks from the philippines....😊
You are a unique and charming young woman with many spectacular attributes.
Subscribed! Can you please teach us how to play classical/Spanish Guitar from beginning to advance level. It would be very helpful 🙂
Hey! Thanks! Well I start to make instructional videos from 25 patrons, but when I reach, sure, I'll make videos for every level.
Premiere at 1h30 in the night ?
fixed it :) Thank you Olivier so much! :)
You shred that thing? 🤔
not sure how you mean this, could you explain please? :)
