İf he did that the pass would be intercepted look at the Argentinian defence players. The best option was to shoot but what he could done better was to chip it over the goalkeeper. But that young player had too much pressure on his shoulders. İt was not a bad shoot anyway, powerfull and accurate.

Why would he pass when he had the open chance, there were no defender infront of him only goal keeper, if being a striker he don't have confidence to score then he isn't worthy of being a striker.... Just admit it, it was a great save by Martinez
