Mine and wifey's first-time-ever reaction to the Heavensward trial, the Limitless Blue (Hard). Probably the most badass boss chamber so far!

So wholesome: "I'm helping! I'm helping!" 🤣
Yep, you are correct. If somebody used LB2 on the Corona, you would have killed him. If no melee DPS is using it, use it. No reason to waste Limit Break.
What led to the Fantasia into a Hyur? I would guess peer pressure, but that usually creates Lalafels.
Man, really liked Au'ra, but couldn't get used to all that horn action. Especially with any kind of hat/hood head gear 😢
Biggs and Wedge have been characters in every FF since 7. It's also a reference to Star Wars.
Since 6, in fact. Only that time they were canon fodder that died in the prologue
@@forestmaiden2316 yes funny part was in the original translation of 6 it was Vicks and Wedge cause if the mistranslation. God I miss SNES translations.
@@Kunzite1982 Spoony bards :D
The music on this fight is so good! I would join party finders just for the music!
Too bad this fight is so boring in the ex version esp unsync
The music is consistently amazing so far in every trial tbh 😁
Title of the song is "Woe that is Madness".
"That looks like a shield generator!" Midgardsormr PTSD intensifies.
Biggs and Wedge are a reference to the Star Wars movie -- those were the names of Luke Skywalker's wingmen when he made his trench run to blow up the Death Star.
Damn. I need to get back into my Star Wars lore as I didn't even know this! I just thought it was a reference to Biggs and Wedge in FF7 😊
Look around in the Sea of Clouds, there are things happen in the distance.
Life as a caster gets better as you get more experience (both in and out of game). Ingame you get more isnta casts and OGCD's to do stuff while moving just fine. Out of game experience there's stuff like learning when you can afford to finish off casts or need to move asap, and stuff like slidecasting to maximise time spent putting down damage while still staying mobile.
A little tip: when you get raised in combat, you get a 5 second invulnerability buff. This *_goes away_* once you starting casting/hitting stuff. Walking around is fine, though. Give your healers some time to toss you a heal, lest you bite the dust within seconds again xD
Funny thing that you brought up Sin at the beginning. If you look at the shape of the island you're on when it zooms out, it looks like a world map of Spira!
lol I was waiting for that lightning to hit you
As a white mage main, seeing damaged ppl ignore the healing bubble hurts my heart hahahaha; but only dying once on your first time in the trial without knowing any of the mechanics, honestly that's pretty good!
Hey Cob, i don't know if you know but there is a lvl 50 blue quest in Arcanist guild enabling the "Egi Glamour"... you can glamour your Ifrit, Garuda and Titan back into carbuncles... very short quest...
Yeah if you are not standing on Bismarc's back, you cannot do _any damage whatsoever_ to him. Well I guess a Summoner's pet might be able to run over and land some hits, but I wouldn't even be surprised if that does nothing if the Summoner isn't on there. It's made this way for a mechanic in Extreme mode (and slightly less in this one, where you just take damage standing on his back), where if this was not the case, melee DPS would pretty much have no business doing the fight. :p
A Summoner tip, for fights like the add phase with the two Sanuwa snakes! Cast your DoTs on both enemies. A nice gain of extra damage over DoTing just one and then spamming Ruin III. And if you ever play Bard, it gets _even more_ benefit out of DoTing multiple things due to the way its procs work: each individual DoT has its own individual chance to activate song procs, so having 4 instead of 2 running at once is great.
Your character now looks like a story character that shows up later lol.
hehe, yeah I can sorta see the resemblance!
Oh god damn it 😂 My first ever character I tried out (didn't record) actually looked IDENTICAL to fucking Thancred. When he showed up, I was like 🤔 "Well crap. Hope this guy goes away soon".
This reminds me of the spine of deathwing
Heh, poor Sofie. BLM blues. Run from ALL the things! 1st time in anything as a BLM is rough. However, once you have something on lock, know where to stand, when the mechanics are over, or just starting... it's big DPS all the way! :)
Ahw man such a shame to see that a potentially cool looking LB3 was not used
S
That was an unnecessary rescue by the healer
Actually he did him a service to let him know sooner.
@@Relhio People often react negatively when to getting rescued. Even when the Rescue sent the message across faster than typing in chat.
Rescue was good.
@AbyssFiend @FireFrog What I meant was, would his dps be affected if he was on the primal or not since he's magic ranged dps? I assumed that he's damage would be the same even if he was on the island. I've only played melee dps so far.
@@Jemstoness yes. You only do damage to the corona if you are standing on bismark
