It's a song that followed them since pre-pre-debut when they performed at the final of their show and then it was in their debut album but it was a soft version. to1's story these past few months has been crazy af actually 😭 to1 was originally under 2 companies: stone music entertainment and nch entertainment. nch was their main company as they took care of promotions, housing, training, etc while stone music took care of the marketing aspect. after their first comeback, cj enm filed for contract nullification/termination against nch ent and basically forced nch to hand over to1 to stone music. after a whole custody battle, cj enm ended up winning and they got the rights to manage to1. this whole debacle caused the group to be inactive for almost a year. they had 4 company changes over the course of about 5 months (nch ent --> stone music ent --> onefect ent --> wakeone ent). the new name is most likely because of copyright issues after the company changes. despite all the hardships, to1 still stayed together as a group and managed to make it out with all their members which is really impressive in my opinion and shows just how determined they are. it really sucks that all this happened so early into their careers tho :(
