I was absolutely loving this podcast.
I laughed so hard at the docking. Incredible stuff!
I've been waiting a long time for some keefer desert race knowledge and testing
@@victorflores3715 Stay tuned. Monday there is a podcast as well as another video on the NHHA event.
@Keeferinctesting need a fx350 review now that you rode the fx450
Love the off-road content, thanks Kris!!
Fun riding with you for a bit. Cool to have you out there.
Love it more dez please
I like that steering dampener, that's neat. I've also never seen a solid rotor like that, so that was cool to learn about. Very cool!
Love the dez content
Absolutely bud, people that don't race that race will never know how tough it really is. It's very difficult. Awesome for trying it. To other comments Jericho is fun also Panaca NV is fun.
Hell yeah Kris saw ya coming out of the wash at our DMC road crossing 6 miles from the finish. Hope you had a blast on that factory whip!
@@ericxnelson I was cooked! 😂💀
@@Keeferinctesting that wash claimed so many souls
@ Including mine
He runs the throttle cables to the front of the handlebars. I wonder if that improves the throttle feel and if those are stock cables.
that cr250 in the background stole the show
❤💯🔥
As did he say 6 speed transmission? I thought stock was 5 speed so they are using a different trans for the dez?
2025 are 6-speed
@@markbuckholz3184 No way! About time they threw an extra gear in there
Oh ok thanks! Agree, 6 speed has been needed in this all along.
@@JamesStyskel I'm not even seeing the 2025 FX450 on the US Husqvarna website. Only the 350. Wonder if the 450 is even available here.
Ya that is strange. And seeing info that the 2024 gas gas ex450f says it’s a 6 speed, which I thought would be the same bike as the fx450 and 450xcf which are 5 speed.
The 6 speed is important to me so trying to get solid info.
are the triple clamps actually Xtrig brand? i thought they were just a husqvarna factory clamp, and they dont look like xtrigs. And is the stabilizer actually made by Precision Concepts like the suspension tuner? i thought it was just a Precision stabilizer not Precision Concepts. Correct me if im wrong but seems like there were a few things that were said wrong
@@BrockDonaldson511 If you play it back, I make sure to tell you that it’s not the precision concepts, suspension company. It’s called precision racing. Yes they are X Trigs just branded black for the Husqvarna team. It is a factory bike, so there are some things that the consumer can’t buy.
@@KeeferinctestingGotcha so its just the mechanic that doesn’t have a clue what he’s talking about, The guy did seem kinda clueless honestly lol he straight up said precision concepts stabilizer. holy shit when did Bob start making stabilizers😂
Slotted rotor has more chance of packing sand/mud and will grind down brake pads faster. Solid rotor is a better choice for long races.
What size tires? 90/100 and 120/90?
@@ryanstimac6088 80/100-21 and 18 inch rear. Not sure on exact rear tire size.
Ive never heard of the tank expanding over time/use comment. Whats the theory?
“Fuel expands plastic fuel tanks because as the fuel heats up, it creates more vapor, which increases pressure inside the tank, causing the plastic walls to bulge outwards, especially if the tank is not properly vented to release the expanding vapor; this phenomenon is primarily due to the volatile nature of gasoline and its tendency to produce significant amounts of vapor when temperatures rise.” Per the Google search.
thank you kris. More of this stuff. MX is dying
