Yes, love the picture-in-picture split. An enjoyable flight once again. Hope you don't mind me asking, but what line of work are you in? It's great to see someone enjoying the finer things in life! Thanks.
Just fell over this video, like all the youtubers I have a comment. Why would you come in over the trees if you have a great approach over the open space, no wind. Right in the dead mans curve for a minute or so.
+steffen holzt You are correct as this video was taken when I had little experience and I wouldn't do it the same today. That said, the arrival was conducted into the prevailing wind in a careful and steady manner - a trade-off of risk recognizing the low statistical likelihood of an engine failure in the height velocity curve. All flying has some risk and it is the pilot's job to minimize it.
Thanks for your honest answer, I have about 300 hours on the B206 now and I must admit that I did some approaches I would have done differently in hindsight. Seeing this makes one a better pilot, fly safe, Steffen
You can have your Erocopters but the Bell 206 Jetranger will always be the best it is the cadillac of helicopters.
Awesome rotor craft! So this is what winning looks like! Keep it up good job!
