I always cry with joy whenever someone reverted to Islam.... Sheikh Dr Yasir said that aftr Nick said Shahadah..Sheikh said Nick is like a newborn (sinless).. What if a borned Muslim throughout his life he has sins...ie..dont do good to his parents/family..said bad things abt other ppl..and some ulama said these sins cannot be erased by repentance...you hv to find those ppl and ask forgiveness frm them...but his parents passed away already + those ppl he said/did bad things.....Sheikh does this mean those sins are not erased? How come newly reverted are sinless?
You can become sinless, too. Just do an inventory of your sins and seek Allah’s forgiveness with sincerity and following the sunnah for tawbah. Regarding sins against others, this is different, but look into the lectures of Mufti Menk for information about Allah’s forgiveness. You can do things to help your position as much as possible, so don’t lose hope. Remember that Allah is the MOST loving of us. He is the MOST forgiving. It is important that we aren’t afraid Allah is unfair or unfairly punishing. Contemplate on His Mercy and seek scholarly advice for your circumstances. And never give up on Allah. ♥️

I think convert is a better word. He didn't make any choice of being a Muslim at birth
