X6 is a frustrating mess. It had potential at times but it just misses the mark sadly. Too much to do with parts, all those Reploid people you have to rescue, and stages that don't clearly show how you get from one ledge to the next. Alia's advice works in some spots but where it counts the most its like, nope, on your own.
@@jalenwoolfolk2131 Inafune wanted to end after X5. X6 was developed behind his back (and so they had to retcon Zero's death). I think that pretty much explains how this game became what it is :(
@@TurquoiseStar17 The fact that the game is not directed by Inafune does not make it bad. In fact, Inafune is not even Rockman's father. It seems to me that no frustrating moment of x6 compares to how horrible the aquatic phase of x5 is.
@@EddieMaverickHunter you can't even get to the boss with armorless X unless you use certain parts, so pray to god the reploids you let die didn't have a jumper part, otherwise you're done.
yeah i just cleared and posted this stage, and i tried this theory- ultimate armor, ice burst, nova strike. but i absolutely couldnt stop the dash before hitting the spikes. and i tried many times, so i dont see how how you can stop the nova strike short. and i consider myself a fairly skilled player. anyways, im curious and would like to see a vid if its possible.
@@Sliider36 I apologize for being 9 years late, but it is possible. It's not about stopping it short however, but rather doing it close enough to the opposite wall that it ends before you ram into the spikes.

I can't beat this boss. Read its pattern. WHAT PATTERN? It's random how it starts. It goes one way then changes then changes and gets faster. I can't out dash and wall jump away fast enough. It's attacks are undodgable. I managed to destroy one eye but its cube doesn't go away. I waste lives and Giga Crush for nothing. This boss does whatever it wants. Why were the devs so sadistic?
Lol this game is evil I just played it and everything was made to piss you off. The downward slopes, the spikes, the nightmare system which makes is 3x as hard to get parts damn.... lol they were sadistic.

@@adamhernandez7183 no man, the game was bad since the intro stage (yeah that stage is easy, but holy shit the amount of bad enemy placement leads to some damage that is unavoidable unless you can PREDICT THE FUTURE), Remember Metal Shark Player and Blaze Heatnix's stages? yeah those are the worst ones, but the others are bad too, I would say the "less" horrible stage would be Amazon Area, but even that shit stage suffers from bad enemy placement and lots of traps.
@@naoaquieopatrickpatrick8565 The Amazon Area has an annoying puzzle known as the 'blind jump' where you can't see the ground below and there's an enemy that you have to land on in order to not touch the spikes and get killed instantly. Metal Shark Player's Recycle Lab I find to actually be well-designed, same goes for Inami Temple and the Northpole Area.

Blaze Heatnix has pacing issues but it doesn't stray that far from other stages' design overall, and the intro stage has only two "surprise' segments even on highest difficulty that you can, very much so, learn and consistently deal with.

It's just me or the blade armor sucks in comparison with the fourth one? Even its booster is smaller and with less damage
