  • This week on the Vickers Tactical Channel we have the Sig Sauer P210A-9-TGT. This is the US-made version of the Sig P210 and is currently the only one in production. In my opinion, this is one of the best-made handguns in the United States today, and certainly something you should be thinking about adding to your collection. Thank you for all your effort and hard work bringing so much firearm education to so many people, and for doing in a knowledgeable, down to earth way. Always depends what job it has to do. For target shooting it's one of the go to models. A lot of the long slide target models don't do that good with quick follow up shots based on the slide length. Shop for what you want to achieve with it and take your time cause if the ergonomics don't go well with your hands, it makes no sense to force things. Luckily there are lots of options around.

I’ve been thinking about the Glock 19 for 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐲/SelfDefense because I love its 1911 like angle....it just fits nice in my hand. Of course there will always be a critic, again, this is my opinion. The name “target” is in the name of the gun, so target accuracy is the discussion. I own this pistol, I own a vp9 longslide, and I shoot them weekly. Of course the person behind the gun is the variable! Better buy one when you first see it. A few years ago at a gun show I picked one up off a table and was looking at it while talking to the FFL about it. I guess I knew a bit too much about the pistol and spilled my guts including my entire knowledge on it. I was considering buying it and set it back down to think it over. As soon as I put it back on the table a guy standing behind me who was listening to the entire conversation says "I will take it!" Well, shit....that is how it goes sometimes. My bet is he "kinda" knew what it was but was waiting for confirmation. It appeared to be a impulse buy and he didn't go there looking to buy that particular pistol. After he discovered what it was he was talked into it.
