The process begins by placing the analogs from the prosthesis into stone and allowing it to set, creating a master cast. This master cast is then sent to us in the dental lab, where it is scanned, and copings are added to the prosthesis if necessary. We then return the iJig PTI to the dentist in one piece, ready for the second appointment.
During this appointment, the dentist simply needs to seat the iJig PTI, equilibrate it, take a new bite if required, and perform a wash impression to address any gaps. From there, the final restoration can be created, streamlining the process from simple records and a prosthesis that needs replacement to a final restoration in just two appointments.
