Thanks! Not really tried the bike off-road; hard to find ‘easy’ gravel around here and not many byways. Do you know if the engine/throttle map is changed?
@@EnthusiasticDad If you get the chance to take if off-road, do it! Probably won't be doing much supermx type stuff but it definitely handles very well off the pavement. I would love it if someone at Triumph could verify but the throttle mapping seems snappier with traction control turned off. Lately I've been riding in road mode with traction control turned off and the throttle response for sure feels different.
Thanks Luke! It was already fitted when I bought the bike. It’s a Triumph accessory…..be warned though…..they’re amazingly expensive for what they are as you have to buy a mounting kit too. Good luck.
@@EnthusiasticDad i have the 2022 goldline. Agree with everything said. It is a great fun 2nd bike for me. I have fitted K-tech rear shocks which are great, & i think marginally cheaper than the Fox shocks. Problem is, this has now highlighted the shortcomings of the stock front forks which i find are very crashy over corrugations which are everywhere on UK roads! I’m considering a fork internal upgrade. Not sure if the Tec progressive fork springs will make a significant difference as i think damping needs to be improved, but then it starts to get spendy……
Thanks for the suggestion - I might have another experimental session before buying new units….I have tried the preload on various settings already though and none have seemed to hit the mark for me so far!
off-road mode turns off traction control and ABS so you can do the fun stuff in the dirt like lock/spin your rear wheel.

I’ll have a play, thanks!
Nice vid. Could you help me out by telling me where you got the bug screen. Thanx.

Got same bike, ride same road, agree with your views rear suspension is its weakness
Yes, lovely on smooth roads but pretty hopeless on Fenland bumps! Seriously considering the Fox shocks….

Top tip! Thanks @petehook2866 I’ll have a look 👍
Yup; +1… considering a 1200XC 🤔
Try putting the rear preload on the middle setting (3 I think). It worked well for me 👍

Sorry for the wind noise! New camera was still using the front mic (sorted now!)
what bar end mirrors did you upgrade to?
They’re from TEC bike parts 👍
☺☺ excellent
Thank you! Cheers!
