Nice was looking for this for the longest so chilling and intimidating, MGS1 had some of the best soundtracks really fit with shadow Moses dark and gritty atmosphere.
Yeah its got some great ambience, more so then MGS2! When replaying that one I found a lot of it has music playing over it and you couldn't just get the ambience, which is a shame.

Just reading this, It takes me back and I can hear the Colonel and Snake's voice. Still gives me chills because of the implications of the conversation. This games atmosphere is still one of the best.
