Hi Carapungo. Joe was and is great - he left because he moved to Northern California. We are still good friends. I (JP) disagree with you that Joe is a much better drummer than Timothy. They are both great, as has been Nicole, Tom Brechtlein, and any other number of drummers with whom we have worked. Joe was a busier drummer, more accents, but that does not make him better, it makes him different. All our drummers have approached the material in unique and great ways, and Tim is amazing.
@@incendioband I think you are right, what I meant to say, was that Joe's style of playing, on the early records, really carried the songs, along with Lisa's bass playing as well. I have seen Tim's playing now on the latest videos, and indeed, he is also very talented, perfect for incendio's sound.
