Love Dumpy at the end 😂
She is a budding influencer LOL
The beuty of these campers is u can leave the main awning (travel awning showm in video) attached and pack it away with the camper. Use 3 poles 3 pegs for easy set up. Can also if doing over nighter flip the main awning over the roof amd pack away as well thats how i have run both my ffolds. Also when u hit the serious dirt, grab some blaxk pipe insulation from bunnings to wrap around outside of stone shield and bit down each upright support and the net.
Agree they are so easy to pack up. We can also pack up with full roof on if need to. If on overland trips we tend to either run the travel awning as you mentioned or none at all if heading to the outback.
What Forward Fold do you have?
Pretty cool set up
Thanks we love it and getting better each trip
We had a 2016 model . This looks vastly improved to ours . We had big problems with the SS water tank continually splitting at the welds . Also the frame wasn't galvanised properly an rusted from the inside where the shocks were mounted and those welded fittings ripped out of the frame . Warranty said quote " you get what you pay for " Steer clear of Chinese steel , it's rubbish . I bought Aussie made and have been trouble free since .
Wow you have had a shocking run. We had a few very small issues within a month or so own buying and they did nothing so as much as we have enjoyed this camper we would not buy another one. We have now purchased a Lifestyle Reconn R2SE and when looking for the new van we didn’t even consider Modcon due to the poor service.
Another cool video guys!!
Thanks. We head away next week and we will finally produce our first series. Can’t wait will be a great trip.
@@filthyoffroadadventures can’t wait to see this!
Could you please film the setting up of your full annexe from start to finish? Also mention any setting up tips? What year model is your FF1ff1 btw? Cheers Ralf
Our FF1 is a 2021 and was actually the very last one sold new.
As for the annexe there would be better people to do that as we have actually only used it twice. We tend to do more overland trips so moving most days and just not realistic to set up the annexe every day. We have used the wall behind the kitchen more though.
Looks like a great camper. Are you still happy with it?
Yep it’s been great we have just moved on and need a hybrid as we will be living in it full time next year.
Chocolate should always be in the fridge
So true
